I remember when school was out for the summer my dad used to tell me to get ready pack a few days of clothes were going up to the mountain to help out, so I do as I'm told get ready and wait for the next morning to start herding sheep for the rest of the summer break, What Fawn memories of the days we wish could be again. When we didn't worry about locking our doors sleeping with our windows open at night But unfortunately time now is scary and getting dangerous. A fun food memory is my older cousins eating saltines & sardines - a genius protein/salt combo & ease of portability. I learned to gather wild onions, chilchin, pinions & herbs for my grandma while herding.✨💚
