Best part was next when she said...I got this, made a sweeping gesture over the table, picked up the whole check, and walked out. Don't let people change you with their negative ways! Be the better person always.
I'd like to watch this whole movie, but everywhere wants to charge me money for it AND make me sit through ads. At least the clips I get to watch are pretty wonderful.
It all starts with the goverments failures to prevent harm to citizens by institutional inequity of education, health, employment, housing and welfare etc. Those who know how to get rid by expliotating the taxes so the rich get richer and poor get poorer.
As a foster to adopt mama, I can tell you Leanne has approached this in the proper way. It is both a privilege and a tragedy to be an adoptive mom. No need to create any undue harm.
This is a moment in the movie when Mama Leigh Anne showed her honor. Notice Michael's mother calls her son "Big Mike", but even though Michael is not there with them, Leigh Anne still calls him "Michael" because he told her he didn't like to be called Big Mike. I think, in this moment, Leigh Anne proved that she had both courage and honor in equal measure. She had courage because she chose to overcome her fears, and return to that rough, scary neighborhood, without Michael, to meet with Michael’s mother, and learn Michael’s history. In this moment, she was protecting Michael’s blindside. Leigh Anne has honor, because although the officer told Leigh Anne that because Michael was a ward of the state, she did not need his mother’s consent to become Michael’s guardian…just a judge’s order…this was not enough for Leigh Anne. She wanted to meet with Michael's mother, herself, and show her respect, from one mother to another, by letting her know that her son was safe, and that someone genuinely cared about him. Leigh Anne told her that "No matter what, you are still his mother, and I am not trying to take away anything from that."
I don't really do "emotions." I have my reasons. Adoption will always cut right to the center of me, regardless of any attempt I make to fight it. It means that someone loves someone else so much, they are making a conscious choice that that person needs to be a part of them forever. That is the most human thing anyone can ever do.
I have to say that this movie was excellent and everything Sandra Bullock touches turns to gold and she won Best Actress for this role and Sandra Bullock never dissappoints. I am so glad she won an oscar for The Blind Side. She will always be America's Sweetheart she was popular in 1990's 2000s In 1994 when she was in the movie Speed it put her on the map.
The one with the Karen Hairstyle was ten times worse talking about Michael and Collins.

Not a good ending in real life. Michael filed a lawsuit against his "adopted family" saying they lied to him.

Hello...im from the future. This movie does not age well
IT WAS ALL A LIE!
I hope she quit hanging out with those racist ass friends of hers after she did this.
She didn't knowing what we know now
She actually says this is one of the scenes that Hollywood "enhanced". She claims that her friends always accepted Michael from day 1.
Mike got ripped off.....
Don't forget that she held out her hand to him at the family's Thanksgiving dinner.
I just wanted to say I thought this was the best part of the movie.
The million and 1 things that went through her head in those 4 seconds😇
0:23 Racist blondy kept staring at em 🙄

People may not understand, the maturity of the young lady, bet she had very few regrets in her adult life.🔥🕯️

MY FAVORITE PICTURE ... THANKS ❤️ FOR SHARE ❤️
But like why did they get upset when she said it didn't make sense to legally adopt. Can someone explain this scene to me :(
The questions they were asking were jokes, so when she responded in a serious tone they understood she wasn’t joking about it

Studies.
There no Mike in My family me and my kids are not drunks or meth heads or child abusers
She is who I strive to be
You still sure you wanna be like her?

His bio mom calls him Big Mike but his real mom calls him Michael…
