Grant adored Sharon , put her on a pedestal in fact , but he didn’t know HOW to love her . Also Sharon knew exactly how to press his buttons and did the ultimate dirty on Grant by having an affair with his brother . The ‘ Sharon gate ‘ saga was gripping television , Eastenders used to be SO good ….
It would of been a good fight if Grant and Clyde got into a rumble, I wonder who would win with Clyde being a boxer and Grant being ex army and a general hardman??!!
Yeah, Clyde wasn't intimidated by Grant at all, he showed that more than once, & there were very few characters who weren't. I don't think Clyde could beat him though, Grant was too powerful for anyone but you definitely wouldn't want to be on the end of a punch from Clyde that connects, even Grant wouldn't. Remember Clyde sparked out one of those thugs who attacked the Vic in 1991 with a single punch? Quality.
3:12 I think she went in to try and restrain him from Sharon, she says "stop it" and he felt her grabbing his arm and for that he landed her one in his defence. The mood he was in he was geared up for anything going. Example: he's focused on that PC he sent through the door and that even armed with a battering ram he couldn't take Grant down on his own!
Grant would be dead if Den had heard he hit Sharon, and I think Phil would probably have stepped back at this point since he was the reasonable brother at this point
@@RandomHero_85 Den would of outsmarted him somehow but Den could handle himself pretty decently back in his day. Grant was a loose canon. Den was street smart with a mean streak
This episode shows exactly why grant Mitchell is the hardest ever character to ever set foot in Albert square and why his legacy is still going strong today No other eastenders character past present future will ever be tougher than the one and only grant Mitchell!
Hard? Since when did being hard equal assaulting three women, threatening your wife and acting on instinct? A real hard man would have stepped back, restrained himself and taken control of his emotions.
aussiumo Grant has always been extremely violent and short tempered. Peggy and Phil confirmed it once although part of his behaviour is due to the wars.
Theirs only ever one answer for men that hit and intimidate women a baseball bat around the fucking head always made me laugh how he was supposed to be so ard but he wasnt even that big. Im bigger and stronger than that im no arnie but im stronger more powerful than this surprised me really when I look back through old clips on youtube I always remember him as being bigger he pretty much a 9st weeklin really ha ha lolxxxx
Cor blimey how you forget no idea how many times ive seen this episode but had no idea it was an xmas episode goes to show lol. And was it shown on xmas day or was it just set like meant to be on xmas day sort of thing wow were time goes, I was two months short of my 16th birthday im forty in four weeks not grrr lmao..............
The main reason why Sharon would not oblige Grant and give up The Queen Vic in 1993 was because of Den. Sharon bought The Vic with Grant's help in 1991 because it was her childhood home and it was the pub that held all the memories of her parents Den and Angie. So basically Sharon told Grant that the only way he would get The Vic off her was to kill her. Sharon and Grant's marriage was similar to Den and Angie's except Sharon did not turn to the bottle the way her mother had done in 1985. I think if anything Sharon wanted The Vic in 1991 mostly because of Den and she fought a bitter battle for it up until 1995 when she relented and sold her share of it to The Mitchell's.
Shouldn’t Grant have got a few years in prison for assaulting a police officer? Not just a few months. A bit unrealistic! 🙄
Aired 21st October 1993
Aired 21st October 1993
Steve owen from wish
If only Grant was in it when Dan was beefing with Phil, he would of pasted him all over the square!
That's the wrong date, the correct date is 25 March 1993.
First time Ive you seen comment smth instead of a timestamp
Grant bein nice
Unfortunately Grant never learned with his experiences with Sharon and went on to cause Tiffany more misery until her death five years after this

Ello princess
Can this been done in HD ?
Grant in Broadmoor
Definitely the hardest moment of any soap character ever! 2nd hardest moment is Graham beating up those builders in Emmerdale.
Such an ahole that Grant.
No one is harder than grant hardman king.
The date is incorrect on tv said was aired March not December

notice Clyde stared him out at the end , Grant only picked on short people, women and kids so not hard
First time watched this today grant was a loose cannon felt so sad for Sharon
That's what she gets for sleeping with Phil
@@thedrinkinggamemaker9749 this was before that.
That red mist is a hell of a fucker
Domestic violence at it's best
Those 10 cops had no chance against grant Mitchell 😂
Did Grant just accidently hit Michelle Michelle while fighting that police officer ? She had bloody noise.

I can just imagine a fight between Den and Grant.
@@Zedd1500 2005 grant would beat den easily
As nasty as Den was, he wasn't much of a fighter. Grant would've beaten him without too much trouble. Phil knocked him down with one arm in a sling
Den would have needed a gun to kill Grant

Sharon became better looking when she got older
Yes....she did!
Grant 'what you looking at'? Michelle 'mickey mouse' lol
Michelle and Bianca were the only characters who stood up to Grant. I was so disappointed in Michelle when she slept with him
Messylin she loovvvvvved it

Nah, his fight scene with Dennis Rickman showed exactly why he's the hardest character in EastEnders history.
@@Freddie1980 not easy fighting 3 coppers
@Qasim Hussain sorry, I meant 3 at the same time.💪
What would possess Grant Mitchell to assault three PCs after the two that were there were talking to Michelle?
grant mitchell possessed grant mitchell

Phil hit Sharon too.
Bitchface Hopkins No there was once in 2003 when Sharon slapped him and he just punched her. This happened in the Vic.

aussiumo No way was he worse than Grant 😒 The fucked up thing is Grant and Phil both really did love her they both still do😏.
I believe this episode is from March 1993. This is also one of my favourite scenes, and Grant is my favourite EastEnders character.

Lol not anymore
Michelle Fowler had balls.
Love Sharon me 😘❤️
Abigail Holmes So do I😌❤️.
Liked her back then. She was witty. Hate her now. And grant is just the ultimate fighting machine.
Loved her too......the walford Pammy equivalent for me 😍

She has taken it back a few times since then.
I've seen this episode before but I had no idea until now it was a Christmas episode.
George Dunning It wasn't, the date is wrong.
George Dunning It should be March 1993.
Alladin 1985 you are talking rubbish. Jason Cox had Grant shitting himself. Some hard man. #schooled
love Grant pure legend
