My current 60a controller is linear with no sensor wires needed. My 80a sine wave does. Can I bypass hall sensor on the sine wave controller?

I need to epoxy glue the magnets inside the motor sometimes i hear and feel them spinning.

You must not let an active balancer like that run constantly. Only when it’s full. That model works all the time. Also when you discharge it. By nature the cells are always swapping who’s high and low throughout the discharge and charge cycle. The active balancing will then work against you and unbalance the pack by balancing it when it’s at for example 50%. When you charge it back up again then it will be unbalanced yet again and the balancer need to work. On this little board, next to the connector for the balance leads there is two small solder points that is supposed to hold an switch. This is meant to enable and disable the balancing. You should put a switch on the side of the case attached to those two points, and only toggle it on when the battery is fully charged, and turn it off when done. Otherwise you waste a lot of power. The reason this happen is that the chemistry of the lifepo4 makes the cell have differences in internal resistance to each other based on temperature, health, and state of charge. All cells will dip more or less than the others during a load or charge current. It’s just how these kind of cells are. Leaving the balancer on all the time would work nicely on an regular lithium battery. On lifepo4 it will only cause micro charge cycles on the cells and decrease its life span and waste power.
That is not correct, this balancer doesn't move any energy unless the voltage difference is quite high and that's at the top, there is no harm to let it in the battery , some of the modern BMS batteries have this already built in, the power loss is negligible, but, I did think to remove it and swap it to other batteries with a quick plug on the outside that way you have one balancer for 10 or 12 batteries
Diy battery pack i belive is the best. You choose the brand of cells you want, check the voltage of cells and internal resistance and you pay the half price
There are advantage and disadvantages, but i agree ... it just happens that I got these batteries lying around, and I had the option to rip them apart and build my own, Maybe later on ill build my own from the cells
