شرک کی تعریف : - علامہ تفتازانی لکھتے ہیں :- الاشراک ھو اثبات الشریک فی الالوھیۃ بمعنی وجوب الوجود کما للمجوس اوبمعنی استحقاق العبادۃ کمالعبدہ الاصنام “۔ (شرح العقائد ص ٥٦‘ مطبوعہ محمد سعید اینڈ سنز ‘ کراچی) - شرک یہ ہے کہ کسی کو الوہیت میں شریک مانا جائے خواہ کسی کو اللہ کے سوا واجب الوجود مانا جائے جیسا کہ مجوس مانتے ہیں یا کسی کو عبادت کا مستحق مانا جائے جیسا کہ بت پرست مانتے ہیں۔- خلاصہ یہ ہے کہ شرک کا مدار صرف دو چیزوں پر ہے ‘ وجوب وجود اور استحقاق عبادت ‘ اگر کوئی شخص اللہ تعالی کے سوا کسی کو واجب الوجود یا مستحق عبادت مانے تو یہ شرک ہے ورنہ نہیں۔ -
