Really!? Fill us in on the details.
@Vertical-Films my bad not the owner, Robert pooley one of the instructors who certified other instructors was recently jailed for 2 years for training people fraudently without a licence to do so. That drop zone has had 28 deaths since 1985 through bad practices. I believe the owner has been subject to multiple law suits because of these deaths.
@@grahamlupton ahh yes I didn’t think Bill had been arrested. Many fond memories from jumping there, sad to see it is not what it used to be.
@Vertical-Films I've met people who spent a lot of time jumping there and I know for sure I would have loved jumping there myself. It would have been my kinda dz 😀

The terror of the person who cut away to find the emergency shoot tangled got me 😂 that looks like a terrible situation to be in !
Temped to do an AFF after doing my first tandem the other day.. being terrified of heights I found it breathtaking (literally) and empowering! Will do a few more before I consider the course! After looking into it more I’m more worried about the landing and control of the shoot 😬 great doc though!

Did my first tandem skydive four days ago. Was a 40th birthday present for myself. Thinking about applying for the AFF licence. Was so terrified doing the tandem. Might do one more before applying for the AFF.

Interesting. I was on a Lodi King Air many years ago that lost its port engine-in a right bank-at 1200’. That plane, same tail number, crashed in Hawaii killing 11 people. The incident was terrifying, getting back up in the air was too. But….we do it don’t we?
