    I lived in San Antonio for 2 years in the 1970's and in Houston for 15 years. Only in Texas would the state put a highway through a conserved public park area. Its wonderful what people can change for the good if they chose to persist.

    Thanks Kyp! Lots of new information. To start with the only bat I was aware of was the Mexican freetail. Would have been nice to have some info about size the slides. Did not know that bats did not like shrubs.
