Specifically for the platform cancel at 2:20 its jump from ledge, hold in the entire time, and press side be on frames 27 or 28 of the ledge jump on small battlefield, 26 of 27 on battlefield, or 32 or 33 on PS2

Pivot side b goes really far and can be used to have a better punish than dash attack if your opponent misses a big move far away from you, and cover a lot of options in techchases which is really nice because electroshock kills early at ledge like you said. And it makes it harder to whiff punish since it goes further and faster this move is underused a lot imo, especially when you see how pivot make it great for covering landings (rob nair, zss zair, every char that tend to take out a hitbox while being juggled)

I dont think thats cheating, but i could be wrong wrong. I think what u saw was the bowser having crazy sdi. Its a thing in the game where if u are in hitstun and move the greystick rapidly in a corner of the stickbox, u can make urself move while being hit. Yknow that split second after u land a meaty attack when the game kinda freeze frames for a bit? This window is where u can input sdi. Weird stuff can happen where for instance: i jab u and ur to my left. Normally, u pop up for a couple frames and i can mix off that. If, however, while i jab u (and as ur character freeze frames) u roll the grey stick down and right man times in those few frames, ur character would not get popped up (cuz ur sdi’ing down) and u would move so fast to my right, behind me, it looks like u teleort. Hope this helps! If u want to see more abt it id recomend looking at meele sdi, that game has wild sdi parameters. U could, hypothetically, literally make the other person reverse hit u every time if ur good enough in meele. 🥶

Honestly, I respect the attempt. Somewhat smart move with just incorrect spacing. That Bowser's got some balls. I'm sure he's as irritated as I am that most sour spot spike moves send upward. Personally, I'd rather them all be like Zelda's or Melee Falco. Strong spike at the start and then very weak spike for the rest.
