      A massive galaxy filament, called the Norma Wall (also called Great Attractor Wall) is located at the center of the supposed position of the Great Attractor. The Norma Wall contains the clusters Pavo II, Norma, Centaurus-Crux and CIZA J1324. 7−5736. The most massive cluster in this region is the Norma supercluster.

    Orange stars may not provide the correct solar radiation needed for lifeforms from Earth.

    • @SciFactors-qj9if
      @SciFactors-qj9if 4 дні тому

      Orange dwarf systems are the most likely type of stars to have planets with extraterrestrial life, due to the following factors: 1) They emit enough energy in the visible part of the spectrum to provide a temperature that allows liquid water to exist on the surface of the planet; 2) The stable phase of activity in the evolution of KV stars is longer than that of the Sun, which gives more time for the appearance and development of life on the surrounding planets; 3) The "habitable zone" near the star, which, depending on its size, ranges from 0.1-0.4 to 0.3-1.3 astronomical units, may be far enough away to allow the planet to maintain its own rotation, which is not synchronized with the planet's rotation around the star, which in turn allows the planet to maintain its own magnetic field; 4) Changes in the luminosity of a star during its stable phase of activity are insignificant, which keeps the "habitable zone" unchanged throughout the life of a KV-class star; 5) Due to the lower temperature of orange stars, the level of their ionizing ultraviolet radiation is less than that of the sun, which is also favorable for life; 6) More massive yellow dwarfs and yellow-white dwarfs are less common in the Milky Way, which makes the formation of a planetary system near KV-class stars more likely due to their greater number. There are also negative aspects of KV stars in terms of the possibility of life in their vicinity... This is a more intense flare activity and a closer location of the habitable zone to the central mass, which leads to a more intense gravitational interaction, which ultimately leads to the tidal capture of the planet and, as a result, to the loss of its magnetic field along with its protective properties.
