Welcome to the 50th episode of the Always Bayern Chelsea show. In this one we break down the midweek European matches for Bayern Munich and Chelsea FC.
We start off by reviewing Bayern's do or die Champions League win over Paris Saint-Germain 1-0. The Bavarians got the win they desperately needed in the UCL against high level European competition. The lone goal of the match came off of a corner from Joshua Kimmich where Kim Min-jae scored a heroic header off of a rebound from the keeper. We breakdown the lineups, coaching tactics, match highlights, and of course give out match awards. Danny breaks down certain individual player performances and what he wants to see going forward. Next, he previews Der Klassiker matchup against Dortmund in the Bundesliga on 11/30 and even looks ahead to the mouthwatering DFB Pokal Round of 16 draw against Bayer Leverkusen.
We move on to Chelsea's exciting Conference matchup against Heidenheim. We review the match highlights, discuss player performances, coaching tactics, lineups, give out match awards, and more. Filip Jorgensen had an incredible performance making save after save for Chelsea. Christopher Nkunku and Mykhaylo Mudryk scored goals with Jadon Sancho notching an assist. Finally we look ahead at Chelsea's upcoming English Premiere League matchup against Aston Villa.
