Hello 👋. Yes, Alien Creature was made on a very limited budget. Bad camera's and we had issues with the sound in a few scenes when using a different set-up. @@FieldofArrows Filimg outside with what I presume was domestic video equipment is always a problem, its very difficult to get the contrast right, and especially the sound. I've got one of the first-generation camcorders, a JVC GRC1, the same model that was used in the first Back to the Future film (which amazingly still works) and even the slightest bit of wind causes a roaring noise which drowns out other sounds, especially speech. I didn't recognise the location you put on the screen, where are you based?

@@andyrowlands50029 Excellent. I used low grade equipment mainly due to budget but I am also a fan of the lo-fi quality 👍. I'm based in Nottingham, Alien Creature is all filmed in Nottingham but we just changed the name to Burley for some reason. Burley, I found out afterwards is actually a real town in the UK.

@@FieldofArrows I read it as Burnley at first, then realised it said Burley :-) If you ever had an idea for a film that could use Colonial Marines, I could rustle up a few as a squad :-)

@@andyrowlands50029 That is a great offer. And would be a fanboy dream to do. My main obstacle would be location. But I'll keep the idea in mind and you never know. 👍
