When the ridiculous rumour that Rick astley sang ‘I should be so lucky’ speeded up cos apparently if u played the 7 inch vinyl on 33 instead of 45 it sounded like him - the press had a field day while many questioned kylie’s talent. On her first video collection the clue given that it was all a load of rubbish is when Kylie jokes that the press got it the wrong way around and she actually sang all Rick Ashley’s songs slowed down! However back then all UK promos were mimed and the internet/you tube was still a few years away. Had they not have been everyone would have been able to see all kylies promos in Japan, the US and Australia with a live vocal.
Those criticize her in the early days saying should could not sing, just piss off! Kylie can always sing, this is the proof, she belt without closing her eyes!!
The band was OK actually especially the sax parts as the recorded track did not have a sax part - he had to arrange and improvise himself - surprised she selected this track as it was never released as a single…
That was an exception rather than the norm in her case. If you watch her many other early TV appearances, she mostly mimed to playback. And I'm saying this with all due respect and love for Kylie.
This is what Americans and latin America missed out on. But glad you finally found her.
Wowwww!! Been a Kylie fan since day 1 and never seen this bfr!!! She always sung better live than at studio!!! She's incredible!!!❤️

Beautiful ❤
Those Kylie tones are so magical.

Im looking your eay and i want you
Take me back. 2024 is rubbish
0:24 Be glad that you weren’t an Australian kid if you weren’t because that is a scary duo.
I was 7 when i saw this and takes me back go Kylie minogue 💖🌷
Honestly. This vocal is astonishing. ✨🌟💖
I love her smile
Melhor música da Kylie ❤
Kylie has always been a brilliant singer 😍
So relaxed here .. her left shoulder comes up whilst singing .. amazing vocal .. she is amazing 🎶👍👍👍
The wee smile at 2:33 when she knows she's smashed it 😀
My favourite from the album
Fantastic vocalist. She will always be. People who say she cant sing have never been to any concert of her. She is amazing.
Amazing!
She is too much! 😭❤️🙏🦄🥰🌈🔥👏⭐️
Wow recien veo esto. No sabia que habia interpretado en vivo esta cancion de su primer album.
She's so talented. She's an angel
I would like to share this if ok
She was so ready to be a world wide super star! 😍
Those criticize her in the early days saying should could not sing, just piss off! Kylie can always sing, this is the proof, she belt without closing her eyes!!
I think it didn’t help that all UK promos had to be mimed plus Kylie had not done any singing previously as she was an actress first.
I remember this! Taped it from HHIS and no doubt watched a million times 😍
AWESOME
You bring a great big smile to my face highness
33 years ago
I saw Kylie UK Manchester Arena 2005 Sang live, great show Real Showgirl Great night
Love it
Beautiful voice xx
Kylie que hermosa mi amor inposible
So ocker!! 😂😂😂she lost her accent along the way.
she really shut up all the critics with this performence
And she copped so much flack for not being able sing live. This clearly shows that she could and still can, now, do you believe in magic?
i LOVE these early live performances - this and also the Arsenio Hall show performance of "It's No Secret" stand out so much ♥♥♥ xxx
Girl could sing. But Somebody ought to shoot the backing singers
Kylie at 2.18 is BLOODY AMAZING.... I love this...
This is amazing. Thank u for posting
What a little pretty sunshine she is
to sing live at 18 on national TV, took something back then. They usually mimed. It must have been a great early experience.
she was 20
To be on Hey hey it's Saturday YOU HAD TO BE SKILLED . It's live filming one take!!!
Holy shit the band and backup performers were horrible but Kylie herself sounds awesome and this is even before she said she took her signing lessons.
the bands ok
Amazing quality! Wow
That band were awful Such a tune though
It was the 80s lol. Plus given the lack of time they probably had to rehearse you can't fault them for that.
@@ramlad8989 at least there were live vocals and band because normally no one performed live at this time

@@ErickInTheZone This show always had live presentations. This is Melbourne TV.
The background vocals are awful, Kylie is holding it al together, amazing vocal
Wow, she could really bring it.
I have never watched any episode of this show but by realizing that she was in there, I wouldn't doubt to turn the telly on to watch her performance
She appeared on this show many times back then, whether she was liked or not ratings were good
No one can deny why she is the superstar she is today. Even during her early days, she sang live without miming, proving she can sing.
She always sang without some tricks or playback like the most singers we have nowadays. She is the best female singer in my humble opinion.
That was an exception rather than the norm in her case. If you watch her many other early TV appearances, she mostly mimed to playback. And I'm saying this with all due respect and love for Kylie.
Clássico! linda, linda música...
She always had the "wow" factor. She knows where the camera is at all times.
I mean, she was an actress prior to singing.
Sheer STAR power
