Building Raised Beds
We're giving the old Hügelkultur garden a new look! With scrap tin from the farm we made (4) 4' x 8' beds and infilled with garden soil. This is a style we plan to implement to the farm in the coming season.

I received some pineapple tops from a fresh fruit smoothie stand. Some months later, I now have 9 healthy pineapple bromeliads growing on the farm! Fruit propagations is easy enough, whether its trees or bush types. Methods like grafting, air layering, cuttings and more make building you food forest easy. Time to Get Hands Dirty! Season Clean-Up

We had a big clean up day on the farm allotment. Along with consolidating the soil in the growpots, we hand weeded the peppers and cleared out the in-ground beds where the onions and garlic are. Mini Harvest Before the 1st Frost

The mid October frost destroyed the garden so we have a clean slate for the spring. Before the frost we harvested everything that was ready and kept track of how much was produces and when we planted and harvested. #harvesting #urbanfarming #garden #firstfruits
