My very first time doing a sniper or any heavy-ish weapon of any type. I'm happy with the results however the reload was pretty lazy so it doesn't look as polished as the draw/fire. Oh well. inspired by a comment, so I did the magwell grip thing and it turned into this empty inspect project. Animated this today, trying a slower more sluggish style but got lazy with the reload so im leaving it as it is. No sound, sorry :( Model: IW (MWII) RIg: Hozq (edited) I made the hot dogs a few days ago. They are, undoubtedly, the most important aspect of the animation, if not the highlight of my entire UA-cam channel.

These are the best animations I've seen in Blender, with some other animators, I feel like your animations would easily be in some new Mobile like Delta Force Mobile, I hope you get better and better, good luck!

No, if you look closely, even during the inspect cs doesn't have discipline

Nah COD’s incorrect, they gotta be reloading at Mach fuck for it to be accurate lmao. Honestly your speed is perfect for that style of animation! I love the quality of COD’s newer anims but the speed is way too much, you hit that sweet spot!

Kind of, i've watched way too many animations so the styles kind of just jumble together sometimes. thanks for the feedback! unfortunately i don't have any video game development experiences so at the current time they're just animations, but hopefully in the future i can create animations for fps games
@recce99 where you learned how to animate weapon reloads and the rest of their animations. calm. check or see weapon. shot. your work looks very good. I plan to apply fixes for a game. where fingers eat the magazines or pierce them. also change the perspectives and positions a little. since in one a 2nd magazine is seen stuck to the stock. I would like to know how to animate and correct those small errors. They already came like this in a game. It would be great to apply corrections or reanimated everything
@@Sniper-ik8qw yeah, you just have to keep watching how each part moves to make sure no weird glitches (like clipping) are happening. it's also useful to look around the animation in third person to make sure nothing else is happening in the background that might be distracting.

I commend you for the attempt. But i think you misunderstood most of them. Try to sit down, analyze and break down them frame by frame, question why they do it, instead of only replicate but lacking basic understanding why

The Insurgency Sandstorm animations are slower than what is represented in your animation and the overall movement looks floatier but in a vacuum, your animation is good. Ready or Not is great though that animation is pretty much also the style of MW2019's reloads with sleight of hand, especially with the M4, the poses are roughly the same. Delta Force is pretty well represented. The hand/weapon movement in representation for CS:GO is almost 1 to 1, looks just as sh*tty as it does in CS lol (obviously that means you did a great job capturing it) though in CS, the bolt release is slapped on M4 and M16.

I definitely agree, especially with the cs stuff, it's always annoyed me how low-quality the animations were in such a popular game considering it's been out so long, and the animations were left unchanged from csgo to cs2 (besides in cs2 the bullets were changed to static for the lmgs meaning they just clipped through the guns... smh lol)

This was really good, and most of them were spot on and I actually had trouble telling if you just ported the animations or remade them! The only one that really stood out was the csgo one, it doesn’t really resemble any csgo animations. The other ones were terrific.

Well done with the style and rhythm both feels pretty close, but for delta force can be closer to the movement style, for counter strike it feels like it's lack of details, but it's a good try so keep it up!

thanks for the feedback! unfortunately, i have no experience in importing meshes, animations, etc. into any sort of game engine, the only thing i know how to do is animate in blender lol. if that's not a dealbreaker for you, i'd be happy to work with u, hit me up with my email on my channel page description thingy :-)
most of the time the only thing required to import animations in a game is making the animations in a specific rig for said game, export methods aren't too complicated generally speaking@@recce99

@@rustebelmondo2467 the "speed" reload only makes the operator throw the mag which makes the reload process faster but the animations moves are still exaggeratedly slow and floaty.
I think the thing you capture best here is the pacing of each style. Insurgency reload is my favourite though.
thanks! yeah, the pacing of each reload is probably what sets them apart. some reloads have the same time as other ones but have a completely different feel. the insurgency one feels really relaxed and thorough
