Not really. I remember the protests in the seventies in the Netherlands where people took to the streets and blocked roads to get safer roads. And go look at road safety in the Netherlands how accidents all went down dramatically. This is the only way to change the thinking of people.

Ask any truck driver or anyone who sits high up in traffic, and they will tell you that a large majority of people, especially younger people are using their phones while driving. This is only going to get worse. Bikes are much better off not being on the road at all, What you are doing is not constructive and certainly not ‘action’. Bikers will continue to be hit regardless of how many roads you block off. Take this feedback as direction as to were to put your time and efforts for your cause, instead of telling yourself that your right and everyone else is wrong. Your road are a waist of everyone’s time including yours

@@travellingplumber8528 here in the UK cyclists ignore the rules of the road, jump red lights, magically turn into pedestrians (while still riding) at pedestrian crossings and generally need to be licenced, registered and taxed in the same way as every other road user.

First and foremost rip to rob jenner and peace to all family and friends of his. I drove past the white bike shown in this video and it’s terrible that his life had to be cut short this way. This group wants to be heard and respected and good on them for that. In a disagreement, I always try to see the other sides perception, and I’ve found that some people think with more logic than emotion(right) and others use more emotion than logic (left) And I think that this group is clearly using they’re emotions to get they’re point across, this is just more of an f u to drivers than anything. An example of Violence against a biker would be sticking a stick in theyre spokes or intentionally hitting them with their car. Motorcyclists get the shaft in every accident as well and you don’t see them blocking off roads. Go protest against the city planners and I will join

Suggesting doing nothing is literally way better in every way, but you're also making an assumption. Just because someone has a problem with your methods doesn't mean they're suggesting resignation. You're proving our point, that what you are really interested in, is conflict, and trying to make yourself feel superior.

No not at all, roads a public and belongs to all citizens, you have the legal right to use it with all vehicles aswell to demonstrate , in other country's in the Dutch the cities are mutch more life worthy course the make good planes for everybody not just cars please watch not just cars and learn.

No it s a transport vehicle I use my bike for getting from a to b , not to make sports. And as better the infrastructure is as more people do so.

In citys most often bikes are the fastest way to get around, never I would use a car for that . See the Dutch also in Berlin just 33 % own a car

@@iodiimelita7999 Commuters (outside of big cities) are a very small minority in the bicycle community. Where I live it is a bunch of spandex laden people out for sport. They NEVER stop when making a right turn on a red. Cycle through red lights if it is clear so they don't lose momentum. Blow through stop signs. Drift out of their bike lane so they can be side by side and chat. This is the behavior I see on a daily basis.

Driving, the one recreational activity that regularly kills people: In crashes, through emissions, through growing fat as fuck.

When the government is failing to protect its citizens its our duty to speak out against it.

It s on purpose when citys Don t plan for all citizens and Don t care about the safety of pedestrians and cyclists and children's. This need to be addressed and changed to make citys liveable.

He used the word “violence” to help spin the case that this was a rational form of protest, rather than a protest that would alienate potential supporters.

Hes using divisive language to inflate the problem and excuse his unacceptable behavior. I've seen alot of unethical self aggrandizing people do that.

@@iodiimelita7999 in paris a 2 year speed limit experiment (30kmh in city max ) decreased the amount of casualties in traffic from 86 down to 9 and in 2nd year just 11 casualties. of the 89 people dead in paris traffic in 2011 only 1 was a car driver. the rest were pedestrians and bycicles...

@@iodiimelita7999 The cities just need to build like the Asian cities that has dedicated bike lanes. But they don't ... You can't really expect the car-centric drivers to suddenly get used to having bikes around them.
