AI Prices Crash 10x in a Year Will This Trend Continue?
LLMflation, a blog post claimed that the price of AI has fallen with a factor 10x, in the last year.
Why has this happened? What consequences will there be? Can we trust this “investigation”? and What have they forgotten to mention?
Who doesn’t like lower prises? But can this prise crash continue for long?
In the end, let me hear if you agree to my prediction about the future of AI prises in the comments.
We check positive factors, societal issues and peak a bit at what a VC-firm does NOT say in their blogpost. Are MMLU scores good enough to base this type of conclusions on? Have OpenAI succeeded with their epic split of the LLM market?

GOALLLL Dashboard!! 😆 Your Real-time Dashboards in 1 Day video was so good btw! Sidenote... if you're interested in growing your channel faster with insights, i recommend VidIQ because it has a Keyword Research tool where you can see how many times a "phrase/term" is searched per month && if it's competitive or not. This is cool because you can make videos about coding/data that people will easily find based on the topics they already currently watch. For example: if i make data dashboards videos, after VidIQ research, it might be better to call my video "python data science or "data scientist roadmap with python" blah blah. I use this pretty often when i'm crafting video ideas because it gives me better context on what people are already familiar with. It takes a few tries to get it right, but yes, i recommend it! really good for python as python always has something new being built on top of it. anyway, have a good day!
Awesome!
Just saw an update to 24.04 about sound... Will verify if this is fixed soon!
I was about to quit, your video came out just in time
Never quit, my friend!
@draupnerdata ive watched all your videos all you please show us more of the code so we can learn and understand together , plus please do one video of how to create dashboards - i am trying to switch from dash to fasthtml
Ok ill be careful!
No offence but i couldnt tell if you are a AI or not because of your voice. But great short. Keep going!❤
@@TheDutchFool No offence, but your spelling is not up to par with an AI... 😁
@draupnerdata i'm glad it isn't. Otherwise people wouldn't notice the difference 😁
But you also spelt some stuff wrong I think when you wrote malicious@@draupnerdata
So, I'm not an AI... yet! :-)
Excellent series with unique value. Very much looking forward to seeing your dashboard video; can't thank you enough for making these! Would love to see you demonstrate some more eye candy like alpinejs, shadcn/ui and framer motion..? I'm not even sure if all of those are possible, but that would be outrageously inspiring! 🙏🏻
More to come!
Excellent explanations, much appreciated! As an complete beginner with just a handful of simple tkinter and flask apps behind me, and only a rudimentary and high level understanding, I'm fascinated by the prospect of being able to prototype in such an elegant and concise framework, while still being able to deploy a beautiful, performant, and maintainable application, and perhaps even packaging an executable at some point with something like Tauri? Does that sound remotely feasible, or are my LLM mentors misleading me again? Lol
Tauri sounds like an interesting tool, but I'm not shure how FastHTML will blend in to that mix. Would need some tinkering about, to figure that out. But why produce a multi os application, when you can have one server, and run in anyone's browser. Your Tauri application will not run on phones and pads?
Can you do a full tutorial series starting with a dynamic website, then we can go to bigger systems
@prospermulambia9514 Depends, who should the tutorials be for?
This is a fantastic explanation. I really like your slow and confident way of explaining. I'm already waiting for your next video.
Glad you liked it!
How do you fix it You don’t
Do you have a speech impediment? 😂
Hi. Pls do more videos on htmx and alpinejs pls.
alpinejs, interesting, must look into that one.
your first like to your video
Thank you!🙏
good initial analysis
So clear! I like the way you talk. Thank you!!!
So nice of you
Hi Draupner!! This htmx, well....FastHTML video was phenomenal, and just what I was looking for!!! I really enjoyed it and i only have one wild suggestion...Do the exact same video style and do them outdoors!! Enjoy the outdoors!!
Thanx for the input. I do enjoy the outdoors, but hardly ever with a camera up my face... Doing this type of vid outdoors, would both be different, and a challange!
Make louder i can still hear you
@shirinrezayi-l7p Shure I can, will remember to the next one! 😁
Less code, achieving the same thing, generally means more abstraction, thereby more conventions and assumptions. In an age of AI and developer support, this really doesn't seem all that interesting. Most of the code I have written in the past year has been generated by AI, and validated by me. I have arcane colleagues who "don't believe in AI", who are vastly less productive now than their younger AI enabled counter-parts.
Coding with AI and a good framework, will always beat coding a bad framework with AI.
FastHtml and Htmx are the natural coupled for this ecosystem. And OOP style could reduce code lines for medium project.
Agreed, but that is only one way to structure the code... t.b.c
good work. Is it possible to share the code you used?
Thanx, I have been thinking about it, but it needs some clean-up before. It contains some personal keys n'stuff. Also, it is not production ready code. Just function ready, comparable to the django stuff. Will look into it!
Thinking about to continues this series with, html MPA, performance comparison Django vs fastHTML, porting mpa to SPA using HTMX, styling, and...
Please do!great explanation
@@zakariaabderrahmanesadelao3048 First one on MPA with HTML is out now! Planning the next on Performance eval: Django vs FastHtml...
4:14 this "style" is called ChatML. Thank you for the excellent tutorial.
Good to know, for future reference, thanx!
Thank you for speaking clearly and audibly in English. I appreciate your video, because it is helping very much

thank you so much brother
Saw this video with less views than subs, got scared and clicked.
I do hope it wasn't my looks that scared you! Thanx for the view.
Is it like this? def testfunc(): return pointer = testfunc pointer()
Like one would expect, right?
Wow that’s pretty interesting I haven’t seen anyone so it before I might just try it on my next project
Do try it out! But it makes your code less readable.

Did you just point at yourself when saying "targeted to you!"? Also you look like you do meth.

How will it bring fun to OAI?
I've been stuck on gpt 3.5 up to now. Initial tests gave better generated answers for gpt 4...
Nice! @@draupnerdata
Is it kali linux that program of coding or what ?
Stable Ubuntu, nothing fancy there!
Wow very cool 😎
"Promo SM"
That's pretty crafty
Thanx, I think I'm not alone harvesting the power of the AI tools for this purpose today. BUT I might be the only one doing it in a terminal window 😀
can we use windows 11 from winehq?
Why? Wine is not running any Windows version, it replaces Windows by translating it to Posix/Linux calls. If you want Windows 11, I'll recommend VirtualBox or another VM running a copy of Win 11.
Lets tweak the AIY code so that it fits me better, as OAI. I want chat-sessions that remember earlier answers. Get rid of garage printouts to support pipes. And have the possibility to list supported models, from OpenAI. See the full rundown here: ua-cam.com/video/CnZStJhaWNw/v-deo.html
Now export to CSV file format :)
