So much emotion, still humorous, so much layer to the characters. Nuanced yet callous. What not to love. Never seen such a show and i doubt i will ever in future.
I'm convinced the writers of the show, when they approached William Shatner for role of this character, they told him "yeah you're going to play a lawyer or something, just be yourself."
I haven't seen ONE episode of these shows and yet I find myself watching compilations of William Shatner going around saying "Denny Crane". best time i had in years
I was once in this arena of misfits... But I knew 2 lawyers [liars], that were actually very similar to these 2 nuts. Both became states attorneys. I swear I could not figure which side they were on, and I could not figure out who to cheer for. I told the judge in chambers once 'everytime I come to court and when either one of these guys are here, I feel like I have come to a circus'.. Judge replied 'well its is a circus everyday, so whats the beef?' LOL
The relationship between these men is why Star Trek is still part of our cultural lexicon and TJ Hooker is a brief afterthought. William Shatner plays best off a cool, subversive co star, like Leonard Nimoy and James Spader.

I'm genuinly curious; Would you support more gun regulation? I personally think, having a gun is probably okay if you're actually being responsible. My fear is, I'm pretty sure most people aren't and more background checks would be neccessary. What are your thoughts?
They did that to mock responsible guinea owners. If you saw the show, even though it's quite funny. They keep tossing in their liberal barbs. Denny's character is a conservative Republican. So they make him irresponsible with guns..... Oh yeah, not the first time that a firearm went off, right after he said it was unloaded.
@@pacmanshooter247 more background checks are bullshit politics. Do you have a clue how many people who commit violent crimes with a gun have had a background check?

The salmon catching was worth watching ❤❤
DENNY CRANE - JEWISH CANADIAN - AMERICAN COWBOY ❤
Private citizen Shatner should be more Denny Crane I hear.

They didn't even give an inch to that lady on the street. 😂 didn't even say a word. Just looked past her
Denny Crane!!!! 🎉🎈🎊
How in the HELL do you not show the picture of Alan and Denny with 1 and half fish after that scene!?!?
Just realized Alan is wearing the same sunglasses Agent Smith has in the Matrix.
Pull!
If Bobby Robson was an american lawyer...
I got a cigar in my ear right now .
Good actor God blessed them ❤ and😂
It was because of this series that I wanted to become a lawyer and move to Boston..🙂.. absolutely brilliant..
if you're going to have a "denny crane" reel - you HAVE to have a sceen with "shirley schmidt HO"!
In the old Star Trek James T Kirk was Court Martialed he should be defended by Danny Crane

Are you kidding, you haven't lived if you haven't watched this PEARLER❤
I think I’ve been missing out. I need to watch this program. William Shatner re-inventing himself. 😊
@@eileenmaschal9505he really does. It's a beautiful show
I binge watched Boston legal... Amazing.
Gotta admit in the fishing scene I expected Denny to pull out some dynamite!
Odo and Kirk: Star Trek reunion tour.
Denny Crane as a lawyer at age 90 is a better lawyer than the top three lawyers half his age...Denny Crane.
“I was a trained sniper, or was it a pilot” gets me everytime
true
mad cow my friend
Boston Legal was the best.
3:54 that rack though
Second commandment!!! 🤣
The chemistry between Shatner and Spade was unforgettable especially in the street scene!!!!

And another he played off of - Dr. Mc Coy ?
@@newaddress456 And that role was played by John Larroquette, the master of the subtle, wry side look.
You made a great point !
Ahhhh Nimmo Bay....
Ya know how some states take away drivers licenses of some elderly... How they gonna handle NRA members with dementia or Alzheimers? 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
What always gets me is that Denny sounds more irritated that no one got him than that there’s a gun pointed at his best friend.
Off to binge watch this series now.
