@Ray.096 hm, I think anything to consider before ed-ing would apply to any college, that you have to go there lol. I can’t think of anything Bryn Mawr specific for that. But, I have been enjoying my time a lot, I definitely think I made the right choice. The first year was easy, easier than my last year of high school. I imagine however that my second semester will be harder as I am taking chem. The atmosphere is really nice, I like it, and most people are friendly. My reasons for going are quite silly and more personal, 1. It’s very close to my house, 2. It’s hard but not so hard that the suicide rate is high, 3. It’s all women so very gay. I think I have met maybe 5 straight people there. The campus is very small but pretty, it makes a nice short walk, there’s also a tiny woods walk behind the English building. Only things that I dislike is that they sometimes lock the fence gate to the pond and sometimes people or professors are annoying, but that applies everywhere. Also, sometimes the student population feels kind of homogeneous, simply due to it being a small liberal arts women’s college, it’s not a severe thing at all but I imagine it would be noticed if you compared it to a larger co-ed school. Oh! Also one of the best aspects for me is that I got to live in a single dorm with accommodations, and honestly I don’t think that they are that hard to get. I have misophonia so I got in on that, so I guess if you have any mental issues (lol) then just try to apply! I have loved living in a single, it’s so great to come home and nobody is there so you can truly relax. Also you can keep pets easier, I knew someone who had jumping spiders but got ratted out by their roommates lol. Of course, being in a single has the major drawback of that you don’t get automatic friends (roommates), you have to go out and find them yourself! Being in a single also limits your initial connections, as you might not be friends with your roommates, but might become friends with your roommates friends. I also think a lot of the older buildings are overrated to live in. Yeah the outside looks cool but the inside rooms are tiny with no central ac, I lived in new dorm my first year and am living in erd this year. Also, the food is very yummy.

I know there was definitely at least one extra essay I had to write but other than that I honestly don't really remember and I would say that getting in isn't too hard!
