Great video; What Performance Mods have you made?
Hi, I want to know how the belt life is like with the KRX 1000, I am planing to buy a SxS but dont know which one to pick. I go dunning mostly and one thing I am always worried about is after purchase cost. I heard polaris always breaks the belt, so is it the same here? Thanks.
The KRX 1000 doesn’t break belts as far as I know. The manual says to inspect at 1000 miles but not change. I replaced mine with a new one at 1000 miles and the stock belt still looked new. Now I use the stoke belt as my spare just in case.
@@KRXGreenMachine thanks for the quick reply, I am at the look out for a SxS and the KRX is on my radar. thanks for the feedback lets see what happens. it seems up to now it is a very reliable rig and it cost reasonable in comparison to for example Can Am.
Can you tell us how well it does on climbing Dune hills to the top? A lot of people are ragging on this unit but it appears to me and a lot of videos. I watch that it does just fine. Are there any mods we should do right off the bat when purchasing so that we can do sand dunes? I live close to Glamis and have never ridden in them. Your advice would be welcome.
The KRX 1000 is the best build UTV out there. Even the guys from Shock therapy said that. The KRX 1000 isn’t the fastest machine out there but I go every where my buddies turbos go. I can climb Oldsmobile Hill, and China Wall, just not as fast as the turbos. The KRX climbs good with no issues. The first thing I did was exhaust and a Dyno Jet tune. It really woke up the machine. I will be out at Glamis on New Years and will post more videos then😎👍
I wish the KRX was faster
Yes a turbo would be fun, but I keep up with all the Can Am’s and RZR turbos through the dunes no problem. The Dyno Jet tuner helped a lot. It really woke up the KRX
I have a '22 KRX1000 now image if i slap a a turbo and rotating assembly it would be way more reliable than the firepits RZRs or X3 😂
That’s why I bought the KRX 1000 for the reliability
Well this makes me feel better about my krx in the dunes, just need paddles 🤙🏾 awesome stuff
Once you get the paddle on your KRX it makes a big difference in the sand. I go everywhere the turbos got with no issues 😎👍
Do you have your krx tuned??
Did you have yo returned it or tune it??
Exhaust sounds great and the KRX runs great with the new tune on it. Tuning the car makes a big difference
What tune did you go with?
The one that came with the Dynojet 3 for the KRX
Hallo, you didn't install back bracket correctly!!!
I just bought a 2023 KRX 1000. Does this exhaust add much power or is it just for making noise?
Good looking machine you still have it I’m considering trading or selling mine for a turbo machine but damn mane my shitz paid for I have like 10 k worth accessories you know how that this adds up I don’t wanna start over but I want more power I wanna spin da cut da back roads feel me I love my krx but I wanna be able to down them 35s but I most likely keep the green machine
I went to Glamis sand dunes last weekend and my KRX did great. I was with a group of 16 cars and half were V8 sand rails and I was on their ass through the dunes. Everyone was surprised how well the KRX did with no turbo. My buddy has the new Can Am X3 turbo RR, 195hp. The car is fast as hell but the suspension is not as good as the KRX and sits lower. The KRX is better in every other category. I put a Dyno Jet tune on mine and made a big difference.
Does it climb the big hills out of the valleys?
Yes it climbs the big hills no problem. I follow my friends turbo cars everywhere and haven’t been left behind lol. You need paddles for sure out there in the big stuff
Check out my other videos from last season you can see the car climbing behind a RZR turbo
@@KRXGreenMachine cool man. Thanks for letting me know
Thanks for the video! I just picked one of these up but I'm having some issues with the bottom hanger. The bottom hanger on the Silber Turbo unit is too far rearward by about 1/2 inch so my factory bracket and holes won't line up. Did you have any issues mounting yours up?
Yes, I should have mentioned it in the video. I had to take the bottom bracket off and turn it backwards and then it will fit the hanger
@@KRXGreenMachine No worries! I actually cut a 1/2 inch off the factory bracket. It never occurred to me to reverse it 🤣One thing I did do though was check the price of the bracket before I cut it. You can get a brand new one for $22, so if I do ever need to go back to stock, a new one isn't bad. Thanks again! 👍
How about an update with the tuner please.
The tuner really made a big difference, it has more power and puts you back in the seat. I will make a video later this summer. In the dunes I was able to stay with the turbos no problem
What is the decibel at idle and 5000 rpm
It’s not much louder than stock but it has a nice deep sound at 5000 rpm. I don’t have a decibel reader.
Nice How loud when you get on it in the cab looks awesome
I haven't had a chance to drive it yet. It sounds way better in person. I am waiting on my Dynojet 3 tune to get here. I will be testing everything out this weekend when we are at Glamis Sand Dunes
Looks like it did fine!
It does great. I ordered new exhaust and tuner for our next trip for presidents’ Day weekend
@KRXGreenMachine did you ever do the tune? If so what did it top out at?
How does the kawi do in the dunes?
The KRX 1000 does great in the dunes. 95% of the time I'm just in 2wd
@@KRXGreenMachine thats good to know, i drove a buddies krx and it didn't feel to fast but the suspension was great, like a cloud
Just bought a krx coming from a x3 big turbo, I guess I can dune.. hahaha Great vid thanks for posting.
The KRX does very well in the dunes. 90% of the time I am in 2wd with the paddle tires.
RZR 1000 Turbo? You mean 925 turbo?
Sorry i want some informationes about this Kawasaki teryx can we contact private?
what kind of tires are on the KRX
15" Method Racing rims with 32" Sand Stripper XL tires. 14 paddle on the rear.
Like Kawasaki said "Let The Good Times Roll"
Hello there, nice upgrade to your KRX! I just picked up a used 2020 last week with 49 miles on it and starting to add accessories. I'm very interested in the Chupacabra mirrors. For the rear view mirror, what size did you order? The 1.75 or the 2.0 inch? Thanks!
Glad you found my channel. I ordered the 1.75 rear view mirror. It works great no complaints
@@KRXGreenMachine Appreciate the reply, thanks!
Looking good👍🏻
Where did you get the Green/White chase light. I couldnt find one and ended up with a multi color from Xprite. Im pretty sure I seen you out towards China Wall this past weekend but my group was taking off. I wanted to talk with you. I just picked up a 21 KRX but without paddles I wasnt so sure I wanted to dune it on the stock Carnivors. You have any plans for a power adder, Tuner/clutching/etc. ? Nice setup btw.
Got the lights off Amazon. Just search for green led strobe light bar. I plan on getting the Dyno Jet tuner next month
Nice! Did you get the kawasaki at Temecula motorsports? Iused to live in Murrieta and it looks like you're living in Temecula.
No I bought the KRX down here in San Diego.
I’m mainly worried my krx 1000 will be under powered for glamis how do you feel about yours?
Taking my krx out this Friday how did you feel it did in glamis? as that’s where I’m going also I’m just airing down and running stock
My KRX 1000 did very well in the dunes. I was running 32" paddles with Method racing rims. I was in 2wd going through big sand dunes and I had plenty of power. My friends have a RZR and Can Am turbo and I was able to follow them up and over everything.. They even commented they were impressed on how well the KRX 1000 did.
@@KRXGreenMachine so awesome I need to get me paddles myself then I ran 8 psi in my tires but had to run in 4 hi when running up Oldsmobile but that’s my fault for not having paddles I’m excited to know another krx member was there as I was the only krx I seen there and many came and asked me about it since there aren’t many duning them 🙂 we vip in glamis with are krx
@@joemosc5671 Yes right now there is not many KRX 1000 out at Glamis. On a big weekend I only would see one or two. When I was at swingset or at the sandbags everybody was coming over to check it out. A couple guys who actually build sand rails could not believe that it was a stock suspension. They said Kawasaki built the car right. When you get the paddles you can run in 2wd then you can get the backend to slide in the dunes and not lose speed
What tires are you running in the video?
32" Sand Strippers XL with 14 paddle for the rear. They work great, never had to use 4wd. I run up Oldsmoblie Hill in 2wd no problem.
@@KRXGreenMachine any Tune or clutching done to your KRX?
@@cantseeme76 now clutch weights or tune as of yet. I wanted to wait till I have at least 500 miles on the KRX
@@KRXGreenMachine how does it do out there in the bug dunes? You feel like it needs more power?
@@raulgallardo1659 It does great out there in the big dunes no problem. I can follow the turbos everywhere they go. Next season I am going to put the turbo kit on it
