Chuck Lenz - Under The Boardwalk
I had been listening to Doo Wop or R&B since I was young on records or AM radio, and this is one of my favorites. Singing that high note on one part was a challenge but I seemed to have pulled it off.

Chuck Lenz - Let Your Love Flow
Переглядів 12Місяць тому
One of my favorite songs from the 70s when I was only 11 but knew this song had a special meaning to it being raised to think of love as being a part of a nature based existence. Once I did experience love in all capacities, this song seems to be a good theme for how I try to express love to this day.

My father really liked John Denver, and my brother and I would sing his songs like Grandma's Feather Bed, this song and others when we were young, while my brother would play the guitar. He was a multi talented instrumentalist as well as a singer back in the day, but his health and smoking ruined his voice. I try to do my best, but I am somewhat only able to do what I can having not done much o...

My brother and I used to sing together and he would play the guitar, and out of a few songs we'd sing some were Simon and Garfunkel. I like this one although we never sang it together, I think of him when I sing certain songs.

I have been a fan of the old Christmas Songs since I was a kid, and this one as simple as it is is one I used to love to hear them sing on the old Christmas TV shows. Not a hard song to sing, or a long one.

Ever since I saw the film "City Of Angels" and heard this song, I have been singing along with it on occasion when I would hear it. Of course3 my voice has changed some over the years so trying to hit the high notes is a bit tricky but I thought I'd give it another shot. I've tried to record this son for over a year and didn't like how it sounded, but we are our own worse critics at times.
Chuck Lenz - White Christmas

I love the old singers like Bing Crosby, Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra, and this song was one that I loved to sit and drift off into the soft slow melody while listening to Christmas songs every year. Bing had a low baritone voice and I can sometimes pull off singing either baritone or first tenor, I hope to show my versatility in my vocals, anytime I can.

Any Christmas song that rejoices about Jesus is definitely one of my favorites. This one was definitely another one of my favorites, I had heard in my childhood, and I love the classic sound of the song as if it was recorded back in the early 20th century. Those songs are some of my all time favorites.

I love when Christmas comes around basically for the music now but as a child listening to these songs with my family, I came to appreciate the classics, and this one is one of my favorites.

My favorite all time Elton John song. I have wanted to record this song for decades and finally decided to try. I love the sentiment of two lovers separated but the singer reminding her to keep him in her thoughts and he'll do the same. Such a great love song from the 80s.

I first heard this song when I was around 12 or 13 years old when it came on the radio back in 1977 or 1978. I really knew how the artist felt as I got older, and found myself longing for true love, and of course every time I would hear it I would get emotional and still do. This song is one of the greatest ballads of all time as far as I'm concerned, just by the way it triggers the emotions of...

I first heard this song or remember hearing this song on a movie I saw at 15 called "The Wanderers" and I thought it was a great ballad. I have always wanted to sing it live or record it so I gave it a shot. I had to lower it one key to fit my highest point of vocal range, and I did okay.

I remember hearing this song on the radio before I actually saw the movie about a year later, and it was one of the first record singles I bought as a early teen after making the transition from kids records to near adult music, because I liked the tune. I recorded it once before but think this is a much better version. I'm no Eddie Rabbitt, but I think I did pretty good on this.

One of my brother's all time favorite artists and mine as well. I love this song and thought I'd try to sing it. I did okay I guess. In honor of the late Jimmy Buffett and his recent induction to the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame, here I dedicate this song to him and my late brother.

One of my all time favorite singing groups, Three Dog Night and another one of Harry Nilsson's greatest compositions. I have loved this song since I was a kid in the 70s among other of their songs. Having to change the key since I can't sing those high notes without straining my voice, I managed to do okay in a lower key.

I have the Rock N Roll Circus DVD. It's awesome! The WHO completely outclassed every other group in the live performance!!

    確かにこの時はWHOの方がバンドとしてのパワー、まとまりがありミックが完敗したと思ってこのR&Rサーカス自体の公開をお蔵入りさせてしまったという話も本当のように思えます。

This is awesome. Always wanted the side by side. I’d always seen the Kids are Alright version first before getting the Circus. Watched them both so much so knew the differences. Great to see side by side. Single greatest live performance in rock n roll history.

This is up there with my all time favorite live performances; so refined yet so primitive... they are on Fire! Too bad the camera quality isn't good enough to see how fast Keith's sticks are moving, but then again you probably couldn't see them anyway!

A performance so monumentally good that the special for which it was filmed was shelved because no one else on the bill could equal it.

That was very unfortunate for everyone and apparently what MJ thought. It was a great performance but so were the Stones and Jethro Tull. The whole idea was brilliant and it was a moment of phenomenal rock history frozen in time for far too long….

Awesome! Do you know where the audio is sourced from? I can’t help but notice that the vocals are way up in the mix, and Keith’s cymbal falling over when he tosses the floor drum is mixed out.

The Kids are Alright version to me is way better, becsuse it focuses on all of them more equally, while the other puts a lot of emphasis on Pete and Roger only. I love them both but John and Keith are very much important!
