"Slavia Backgammon Club" was established on the 2nd of June 2002 by a group of backgammon enthusiasts that support the oldest Bulgarian sport club - Slavia Sofia (1913).
Ever since 2002 we have been playing traditional mixed backgammon (3 different cubeless games).
Our club has organised 600 weekly tournaments and 18 annual championships.
We added modern backgammon to the schedule in 2016.

Why the big dice?
It’s a doubling cube. Used to increase the points the winner would earn. The person who believes they have good odds to win can ask to double the stakes. If the opponent declines, they lose the round and the requester wins those points.
Wow, as soon as the dice stop rolling both already knew what to do most of the time! 🤯
