    What is this lever at the top left behind the steering wheel that it moves up and down?

    • @charlesderesser1780
      @charlesderesser1780 7 днів тому

      The levers behind the steering wheel are the gear shift levers. The lever on the right shifts the gear up, the lever on the left shifts down. Depending on the era there might also be clutch levers beneath both switches, so two levers on each side behind the wheel near the hands. Hope that helps. God Bless.

    Is this the race where DR and MV were arguing about who should toe who for qualifying when they had made an agreement per race weekend. So I was surprised to see DR in front of MV at the start. Would be nice to see similar footage from latter races.

    Alright, I know this is about Max, but come on, admit it, Vettel's overtakes on both Ricciardo and Hulkenberg were nothing but pure excellence. Those were very narrow and precise moves, nearly hit the grass in the pass on Daniel, and had to really CLAIM the inside and apex when switching fast, brake late to get ahead of Nico. I'm pretty confident that without those shitty tyres failing Seb was a contender for the win. He was on a good strategy and had great pace once he pounced on these slower drivers.

    At 4:46, Max CLEARLY commits for the inside line - moves HARD to the right to prevent Nico's easy pass on the inside. So Nico keeps going for the outside, logically. *So far so good, I am happy with what I see - a PROPER defensive move in every way by Max Verstappen, bravo!* But just one second later, everything is destroyed. :-((( We are already DEEP in the braking zone (with a substantially faster Nico outbraking Max *massively*), yet Max moves back to the outside, forcing Nico to brake more in order to prevent a crash. Because of the specific car positions, angles, and speeds, this was an ILLEGAL move. Without it, this video would be 5 minutes long. When you realise that Max got ahead of Nico on lap 16 in a DIRTY way (weaving is NOT permitted in F1 - without that, Nico would take his position back immediately), it shows Britain was yet another race Max spoilt with INTENTIONAL dirty moves (whether he has the mental capacity to understand what a dirty move is, that is another question). At 11:17, Nico is doing 239 km/h when the 50-metre marker is already outside the camera's view. At 4:48, he is only doing 212 because of Max's tricks.

    Excellent work by Rosberg. Not only is the Red Bull clearly faster in the corners here, it is also nearly impossible to follow like this through the corners without destroying the tyres in a few laps. EXCELLENT work...

    The Red Bull's have been much stronger last few months. Ricciardo was able to hold off Lewis at Monza until pure power won out. But don't forget at the British GP, the entire track was not dry. This gave Max a massive advantage defending against Rosberg because going for a pass on the damp part of the track might have ended badly. I think Nico knew the win was gone, and calculated the safest time to pass him.

    The RB is clearly the better car. In corners it's just plain faster. The more powerful engine makes the Mercedes dominant. There are some brilliant designers working for RB.

    I know understand why Nico was pretty proud of himself that he eventually passed Max. This must have been nerve wrecking for him; knowing that you have a faster car but hardly get a chance to pass, cos the driver you are chasing is in a league of his own.

    666 views :-) What happened to not being able to follow other cars? I see ROS gaining ground in the S-s.

    • @location2597
      @location2597 8 років тому

      Rosberg really is on the limit in the s-s , you can hear his engine moan/grunt a little more than any other corner, and there are more corrections than usual. Might also be corner specific anyway. But.. looking at the shine on max's rear's he never loads the tire much through the s-s , whereas in other corners you clearly see them get blacker when under G-load.. So my guess is that Max did the s-s on "easy"' as passing there is suicide. Or Maybe ..I remember Blanchimont ;)

    • @Cloxxki
      @Cloxxki 8 років тому

      Location Antoher thing to notice is Max going wide in many corners, even if he does take a good apex. Saving tires? But this seems to allow Rosberg to get decently clean air on tight lines. When Max goes a bit too wide, Rosberg gets clean air an a fast entry to the straight, making the overtake suddenly easy.

    • @leodelamuerte9957
      @leodelamuerte9957 8 років тому

      I think Rosberg makes a mistake by not changing his line in the one corner which leads on the straight that used to be the start finish line back in the days. In my opinion Rosberg should choose a wider line like Verstappen to get a better exit out of the corner. Verstappen isn't quicker overall through that section but that way he manages to keep Rosberg behind him because he can hit the throttle earlier coming out of the corner. Rosberg should have realized that after a few laps and changed his line accordingly to use his superior straight line speed to overtake on that straight. It took him so long to overtake because Verstappen's Redbull is better through the S-s. That's why i think the straight before the S-s would have been a better choice for Rosberg.

    • @Cloxxki
      @Cloxxki 8 років тому

      Leo de la muerte I could alsosee ROS saying that if he'd tae the same lines, he'd suffer more dirty air. this could hurt him more due to the sequence in corners than the one exit to a straight. ROS did eventually overtake Max only because the latter missed an apex goign wider than usual and thus had to cut onto the straight more tightly. Not only did ROS get cleaner air than usual for his approach to the last exit, Max started the straight slower than usual.

    • @nysdgiants
      @nysdgiants 7 років тому

      yes on the saving of the tires, he takes a late turn in point and brakes late but he's able to apply throttle sooner because the car straightens out quicker vs nico. lewis does this as well but tends to brake too late which causes him to lock the brakes. max and lewis driving style are very similar and its something that not all drivers can do. we might be able to do it in our road cars consistently but the beauty of an F1 driver is that they're doing this with way much higher stakes and speed on a lap by lap basis.

Hij doet me echt denken aan Senna en Schumi, maar dan zonder de lelijke fratsen die beide heren uithaalden... Max Verstappen wordt volgend jaar kampioen in de nieuwe Adrian Newey RedBull. Nico is an old man with a Kid. He's fast, partly because of his skill, and also because of his car. I Don't like his racing. For me, legendary F1 drivers MUST be a "gentleman" racer, and we all know what that means, especially F1 drivers. It's not about being a softy on track, it's about fighting to the point where you bring the other one in a position where he can hurt HIMSELF... not almost/directly hurting the other. If he then f*** up and spins, not your fault. It's a fine line, but they (the F1 drivers) all know exactly what that means. You can be a terrible bull(y) , but you can't hit people,

      +Location i think Nico's main issue is his personality. When everything goes well I assume he can be a nice guy, but he's such a bad loser. If you don't know what i'm talking about, just check every post-race interview this season when he didn't win the race, the man has no class at all.
