Check the current price: amzn.to/3HrQCBx
Do dumpling presses work well?
Yes, they do. Dumpling presses make the process of making dumplings much easier. They are especially helpful if you are making a lot of dumplings.
There is no one "best" dumpling press. However, there are a few factors you may want to consider when choosing a dumpling press:
- Size: Make sure the dumpling press is the right size for your needs.
- Capacity: How many dumplings can the dumpling press make at once?
- Ease of use: Is the dumpling press easy to operate?

    The heating elements are extremely fragile on the inside. Mine crapped out on the center section after less than a year. Many have similar experiences. Check the reviews. These are trash and don’t last, despite being so pretty and having great features. Such a shame.

      It's pretty rare that any single product has universal love. This is why there is not just one toaster available in the world. I don't really have a dog in this fight, but when people do check the reviews they find that Consumer Reports (not a rag) gave it the highest rate of all toasters they rated. I had toast this morning and the toaster continues to work perfectly for me.

    Had bad luck with a Breville blender- the brand is all show IMO and $$$$ Currently use a commercial 2-slice Hobart made in the USA and a made in Japan Mitsubishi one slice masterpiece of engineering.

      This one is still going strong for us. We use it at least three times a week. It's not really promoted as a commercial toaster - matter of fact, I don't think I've ever seen a Breville anything in a commercial establishment, but I for sure have seen Hobart. That's a great brand for sure!

    Too bad it's not motorized.

    • @ToddSnively
      @ToddSnively 2 місяці тому

      By motorized, you mean it would take itself over to where you store your bread and load itself? Or once the toast is done, it would bring it to you? Agreed, one or both would be wonderful upgrades.

      Probably one of the most asked for features on this toaster. It's like toaster engineers have never needed to toast just one piece of toast. Honestly, it doesn't bother me, I like the toaster too much.

    Seems like a waste of energy when using one slot but both slots heating elements are on. It should either have two levers like a regular 4 slot toaster has or a button that will make only one slot operate when not using both slots. Not only does it waste energy, it will unnecessary heat up your kitchen in the summer.

    Does very thin bread fall through to the bottom of the toaster?

    • @ToddSnively
      @ToddSnively 9 місяців тому

      No, there's no "falling through". The thickness of the bread will not cause you any issues. Now, if the bread is "short", then it's going to be harder to remove once the toasting cycle is finished, even with the lift up feature, but thin won't matter at all.

    We just bought this toaster. Something I haven’t t heard a reviewer talk about is how solid this toaster is. Operating the buttons, slider, and lever feel super quality. Very pleased. We have a Breville microwave, same experience there too. Great products.

    How do I get those little “chips” out of the knife blade. They’re not exactly chips per say but slightly rough spots. A knife sharpener doesn’t seem to help. Used it 6-7 times on course then 10 on fine and they’re still there. Knife is much sharper though.

    • @awesomesauceproducts
      @awesomesauceproducts 10 місяців тому

      When your knife blade has minor imperfections such as small chips or rough spots, a standard sharpener might not be sufficient to repair them fully. These blemishes could require more specific treatments. Below are some methods to address this issue: Whetstone or Sharpening Stone Using a whetstone is the most effective way to remove small chips and irregularities from a knife blade. You may want to start with a coarser grit to work out the chips and then proceed to a finer grit for a polished edge. Wet the Whetstone: Soak your whetstone in water for about 5-10 minutes. Positioning: Place the whetstone on a stable surface, coarse side up. Angle the Knife: Hold the knife at the appropriate angle (usually 15-20 degrees) against the stone. Sharpen: Slide the blade across the stone in a sweeping motion, making sure to cover the chipped area. Flip and Repeat: Do this on both sides of the knife until you are satisfied that the chips have been removed. Finer Grit: Once the chips are gone, flip the stone to the finer grit and repeat the process to hone the blade. Professional Sharpening If the chips are significant, or if you find you're unable to smooth them out yourself, you might want to consider professional sharpening services. Filing For larger chips or deformities, a metal file could be used cautiously to grind down the metal. However, this method should be used as a last resort and very carefully to avoid ruining the blade. Honing Rod While a honing rod typically aligns a blade rather than sharpens it, a ceramic honing rod can sometimes remove minor imperfections. However, this is generally less effective than a whetstone for chip removal. Proper Care After successfully removing the chips, make sure to properly care for your knife to avoid future issues. This includes proper cleaning, drying, and storage.

      Pull through sharpeners will just make the chips deeeper and bigger. You need a whetstone to repair chips. (And it's a better edge than the mangled-mess these pull-through's leave.)
