Tips for the prerelease postmortem. Have the card pool for Nuu? Play Nuu. Have the card pool to play Zen? Play Nuu because if you don't you just lose to Nuu. Have card pool to play Enigma? You should play Nuu anyway unless you practiced Enigma ahead of time and got a bomb like Miragai. While draft and constructed will certainly play out differently Nuu has a clear advantage in sealed. Nuu is all attack reacts in a set with trash / no D-reacts. They over block it's great you'll fatigue them; they value block you crush their face with 2 to 4 reacts you get to play this turn. Transcend once or twice to play all those blues your opponents must include because IT IS SEALED.

id love to see an upgraded version of this deck! maybe like a high end upgrade and a low end would be nice to see.

A paper playmat with rules on how to get started on the back and 3 HH booster packs. Would make it a 10/10 imo.

One additional issue I have with this release next to the missing playmat and rules insert is that they only released 1 amory deck. Blitz Deck releases are at least 4-6 well mistveil is sadly only 3. Like Lorcana,Star Wars Unlimited, One Piece,... I always have the choice of at least 2 preconstructed decks I can play against a friend. With FaB I would need to play against the same deck or wait for another release to have some variety in gameplay. I think it is great that they are doing some CC decks again, but I think they missed some obvious things.

Haha the back of the marvel chi cards is marvel. It doesn’t say common. They revealed the marvel inner chi and it looks completely different. That’s just a placeholder graphic. Moon chakra prevents 3 when you don’t transcend. It’s just 5 when you do. That’s pretty great

Little detail I appreciated was that the included deck boxes were deep enough to hold each deck *after* sleeving.

I think this is a pretty good effort for a two-player starter, if a bit spendy. However, you do get some extra goodies like the deck boxes, counters, playmats, etc. I saw one review where the guy was bashing on FFG for not designing the starter box so it could be used as a carrier for the contents once opened (i.e. the deck boxes once popped open won't fit back into the starter box), but I think this is a minor complaint when you stop and think that with all the extras mentioned the game actually includes way more stuff than pretty much any other card game's starters. In most other games you get a one-player starter deck with no play accessories except a tiny rulebook with nearly illegible miocroprint. Overall a good intro in my opinion.

Recently I've been trying to get into MTG as my first CCG game, but I was overwhelmed by the amount of keywords, types of cards and playstyles. I've picked up this and am enjoying this much more. Easier to learn and I prefer the art style (for most cards) and Star Wars theme. And it's new for everyone, so I don't get destroyed by someone who's been playing the game for 2-3 decades
