That Kevin Collins missed icing call (1:59:10) could have wound up being as big as Leon Stickle's miss 7 years before this. Fortunately, the Flyers were able to hang on to win the game, making the missed call moot.

The oilers won a cup just two years later. It was a smart, shrewd move by Pocklington. And it likely saved hockey in Edmonton long term

The 70s was an awesome time. I was carrying around throwing stars, we had Slime, drank from the hose, had Jarts, went fishing, and even better yet? We actually INTERACTED with our friends! Holy HSIT! What is that? Yeah, I wish I had my original yellow with glitter pair. The bruised wrists were worth it when I could chain-clack and my friends couldn't.

In the Philippines we call this lato lato

Mine were made of tempered GLASS!! That's how you knew they were original. I had a set of acrylic ones too, but they sucked, and didn't clack right.
