Love the old stereo consoles - we have a newer Fisher Philharmonic, but these older ones are classy. And not to criticize, but the turntable speed….yikes! Hope you got that working back to the rpm specs. Thanks for posting yet another stereo console.

This is indeed the Fabulons with Louie, Ronnie, Dizzy, Johnny and Bert singing lead. As a 14 or 15 year kid I remember thinking these guys really have it all together. Jimmy Hill

Really Cool! Where did you get your whole house AM transmitter from? If you got it from a website if you could just give me the link? I really would like to get one so I could do the same with my vintage radios

On this day in 1962 {August 8th} Joey Dee and the Starliters performed "What Kind of Love Is This" on the late Dick Clark's American Bandstand... Seventeen days later on August 25th it entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart; eventually it peaked at #18 and spent 10 weeks on the Top 100 chart... One time Starliters were Eddie Brigati, Gene Cornish, and Felix Cavaliere; who after leaving the Starliters formed the group 'The Young Rascals"... R.I.P. Mr. Clark...

They are worth what someone will pay you for it, I had a hard time selling this one and just gave up and decided to keep it, check out completed listings on ebay for what someone will pay for one. People want them in original condition which is one reason why nobody wants to buy this one, strange I think as it needed this restoration to make it presentable.

Are they the same Fablons who did the great remake of "Smoke From My Cigarette"? That was big in Philly in the early 60's thanks to the Geator.
