Impressions de France - HQ audio and video
Переглядів 91 тис.7 років тому
24p, source audio This combines the flicker-free video from ua-cam.com/video/hqj1XxhgsqA/v-deo.html with the superb audio from ua-cam.com/video/LYmRiRcKZ30/v-deo.html; without them this would not have been possible, so a huge "thank you!" to the creators of those videos. My parents and I have made many, many trips to Epcot since it opened, and each time we made it a point to enjoy this film in ...
Really loved seeing and eating pastries after the film many years ago…then to the circle vision in OCanada
Anyone know the song at 14:32?
C'est une reprise d'une chanson populaire française jouée à l'accordéon 😊
My favorite!!!!!!❤️
At 0:37 it’s beauty and the beast prologue music
The magnificent organ music near the end is Saint-Saens's Third Symphony. You might recall it from the movie Babe.
Thanks.
By far one of the best audio-video shows at Disney, always remember feeling so in awe and immersed in the beauty and time as I watched it when it was already an older attraction
France as it is meant to be. Compare this to insert whatever recent year of Paris riots, gun, and knife violence. Plus let's just say the unfortunate change of demographics that has occurred.
So beautiful!!
brings back so many memories of when I worked at Disney World almost 20 years ago...Going back in Winter and I am excited to see it in person again!
back before it turned into Frankistan
Hello, friends! I love this beautiful video, thank you for it. Just heard that they are about to eliminate this film at the France pavilion in lieu of a very silly beauty and the Beast sing along. 😳😬 Please email guest services at Walt Disney World if you'd like to see them keep this film. Ty!
Currently the "Beauty and the Beast Sing-a-ling" shows continuously in the theater from 11:00am until at least 6:00pm. "Impressions de France" is only shown in the evening until Park close. Sad.
Replaced with a cartoon sing along... :-(
I just found this video and am so happy. I have the fondest memories of seeing this video as a child at Epcot and then I ended up getting to live in France in college. What a dream come, true!
When I worked in the Canadian pavilion at Epcot in 1986/1987 and saw this movie, my obsession with France began! I’ve been to France many times since and it’s fabulous!
I must find the song played at 13:00 i think it is probably just credited as "original music - Buddy Baker" but if anyone can possibly help me refine the search it is much appreciated.
Are you Disney employed?
No, what gave you that impression?
Thank you for posting this.. it actually had me in happy tears remembering being there as a kid watching this film and the mark it left on me❤️it was also how i discovered the composer Saint-Saen.
My favorite part of Epcot. Thank you for posting this.
No matter how many times over all these years it's still inspiring.
16:30 is the song from "Babe"
Great to see this old gem again but it is impossible to capture the thundering pipe organ at the end without the massive sound system Disney installed in this theater. I was blown away by that the first time I saw it....and everytime thereafter. These Epcot attractions were among the first, I think, that used digital soundtracks for the music and they all sounded amazing.
Saint - Caens symphony number 3 for the organ
This is always a most see everytime I go to Epcot. It's so soothing and relaxing.
What a treat!
So beautiful I added this to my favorite to listen to ☺️👂.
0:35 what color will he choose, what color will he choose............aqua?
todaaaaaayyyy
Grand glorious medieval enchanting ...mesmerizing ....the Golden days of Kings. Vive la France !
It's been 30 years since I saw this movie for the first time...30 years have passed and it still timeless !!!
I visited Epcot shortly after it opened. I had a friend who worked there in the art Department. This movie and soundtrack are still superb. I can't believe it's almost been 40 years.
this is too relaxing and just gorgeous i love it
I love the film so much i wrote to Disney for the musical background listing. I was surprised that based on the list they sent me I had all of the music in my CD collection but never combined them this way.
Does anyone know the actual buddy baker score in scene 41? The seine river when it starts raining?
It is one of Buddy Baker's original compositions for the film. He also composed the music for the wedding scene and the scene with the Fishermen
This movie is no longer featured at Epcot. Thank you for preserving it.
what is showing now? this was the best!
I was there in January 2021 and they were showing this.
The pipe organ music at 16:10 is not only appropriate for taking the lift of the Eiffel Tower, hearing the shift work of the bass petals is my favorite section of this musical entourage.
Such a spectacular finale!
I think this should stay in Disney forever. The only thing they can do to improve it is somehow remove the black bars between the screens - maybe with digital image AI and other new film techniques.
I hope you mean an additional presentation, not replace this particular one.

You did an amazing job of capturing this attraction. Thanks for uploading! :)
What the heck is the original Disneyland Space Mountain theme doing in a show about France?!
I am not sure what music you're referring to; can you provide a time index please?
The Space Mountain music is based of ‘Aquarium’ from Les Carnaval des Animeax composed by Camille Saint-Saëns. The Space Mountain version has a 1960s Sci-Fi and surf music sound.
@@gijspiano You mean Impressions de France music. Space Mountain music is something completely different.
ichi1957 Impressions de France uses music from French classical composers. “Aquarium” from Saint-Saëns is used in the film.
Exactly what I thought when watching this in Epcot.
I really wish they had the full soundtrack available. Those orchestra arrangements of Clair de lune and gymnopedie are so great. Disney do something
You can literally Shazam the song and download it from UA-cam.
Me too I love that beauty and the beast enchanted song
This might work m.ua-cam.com/video/QtSIqhNNIPs/v-deo.html
@@jamestrueblood1990 It’s the Aquarium movement from Carnival of the Animals by Saint-Saens
Walt Disney World Official Album 2001. Track 15. Arrangement by Buddy Baker.
Disney sold-out France like they did Norway... has closed and will be replaced by a Beauty and the Beast singalong...
Supremely disappointing news! :(
If Disney is quietly phasing out d'impressions de France movie,I think that would be a great mistake. It should be pure on a DVD so people can but it. The same should have been done for Norway.
Actually both the current France movie and the B&TB sing-along will be shown. They will alternate throughout the day.
@@adambeauregard489 Thank you, it is a relief to know that. It would have been a terrible mistake to get rid of Impressions de France.
@@raco722000 : The Norway attraction "Malestrom" I believe it is called, is very enjoyable but I guess it could use some additions. The worst one is the Mexican pavilion, there isn't much in terms of explaining and the addition of cartoons did not improve it.
Designed the audio hardware for the pavilion years ago. Glad you've all enjoyed it. Better with the five screens. But this ain't a bad version!
Mr Mayberry and all the heroes who worked with you I want to say MERCI! I started going there in the mid 80’s while stationed in Orlando in the USNavy. Now in my 50’s It is still my favorite park and favorite part of the park! Thank you a million times.
I love what you did with Impressions de France, it has always been the first Pavillion we visit at WDW and it is by far the best there. The composition of scenery and music gives it such a wonderful quality, ethereal I would say. Every time I watch this at the park or online, it takes me back to France and brings tears to my eyes. Thank you so much.
This has been my favorite attraction since I saw it as an 18 year old. Perhaps it helped turn me into an audiophile. The experience was truly awesome.
WHATTT THANK YOU SO MUCH THIS IS MY FAV SHOW IN EPCOT
I love the music. Such an underrated attraction. Shame they got rid of the curtains a long time ago. It was even more impressive when the curtain first opened to the size of a regular movie screen and then later revealed a huge panoramic screen with the image expanding accordingly.

Quand j’ai fait cette attraction j’ai eu un fou rire tellement elle était clichée 😂
Maybe to you, but it is well loved.
This is great. So cool they've kept it as-is. I remember seeing this as a kid. Well done compiling the edit.
Thank you for this simply fantastic and utterly sublime film. It will always be one of my favorite films that I have had the privilege to see in my lifetime.
So glad you shared this! This movie is one of my Dad and my favorite things to see in Epcot! Thank you!!!!!!
8:10 this version of Clair de lune is so great! Anyone know the version?
All the arrangements and Orchestrations in "Impressions de France" were all done by Buddy Baker.
What’s the name of the song at 13:42?
I believe that's the finale from "Carnival of the Animals"
Oh my goodness this is the best quality video of this movie!!! I have watched this twice and it brings back the best memories. Thank you for posting :-)
My favorite... place to take a nap.
Oh, we've got a comedian.
Gfresh844 Lol!
A great place to get away from the heat and the crowds.
I dont think he meant that in a bad way..i retreat here to rest and get out of the summer heat. A place to close your eyes and enjoy the music! This is actually one of my favorite films!
Well done! Combining HQ audio and video. At 8:10 Oh the majesty of the mountains to Clair de lune - orchestra version ! Life back to a simpler time of good food, wine, flowers, people talking to each other, not poking at their phones.
Close your eyes and this will still be completely enjoyed
