So glad I saw how bad HS was after only a few hours of play. Who want's to play a TCG where the meta is RNG decks? That's awful design. Also, can we talk about how many of these cards are blatantly stolen from Magic? Arcane Intellect is literally just Divination, down to the art, cost and gameplay mechanic. Look at Symbiotic Wurm and Violet Wurm. Hell Divine Strength is just Unholy Strength but reversed (for obvious reasons). Wish I got a free Lotus Petal every time I went second (even the devs know they are screwing you by going second and the freebie doesn't do a lot to subside that, let's be real). Speaking of bad design, why would you ever put 0 cost cards in a TCG where your curve is that important? It's different in Magic because your mana base isn't guaranteed for you every turn. Blizzard is the only company that could ruin a card game as bad as Hasbro, so it's fitting they are stealing ideas I guess. Next they are gonna start doing Fortnite style colabs, and the borders as well as the full-arts will be so different that you won't even be able to tell what game you're playing anymore. I sold my entire almost multi-decade old MTG collection to get into Warhammer. Best decision I ever made. Felt nice to cash out with how ridiculously expensive the game has gotten. Just imagine how much *more* sh*tty Hearthstone would be if it were a physical game. They could really give WoTC a run for their money then lol.

Kripp is such a douche

I watched pretty much the whole thing over the course of 2 weeks or so. It's the same 5 jokes over and over. They are good jokes though. I think I was 7 hours in until I realized one of them was "I just beat Kripp". I thought he was saying "I just be Kripp" which made no sense. But it's great it worked out like that cause it breathed some life into this slog. And sure, I am being a bit hyperbolic when I say 5 jokes but I am pretty sure i only laughed out loud once, maybe twice, through the whole thing. Not saying it isn't funny, it's hard to make me laugh and I am tough crowd, but it's all just very mid. Having said that I did enjoy watching most of it. Just saying don't expect endless laughs or anything like that. It's a decent watch. Probably better if you are familiar with Hearthstone. Once you have seen 30 minutes to an hour of it you have basically watched it all though. About 8 hours in there is a new joke with a rubber duck and a baby crying noise. I volume on the baby crying is very low thankfully. However, babies crying is one of the most obnoxious noises. If I had not been so far in and had experienced this 6 hours before I would have quit. I've known about Kripp since D3 and POE. Pretty much since he started. However, I rarely watch twitch and never watched his Hearthstone stuff. Also, I've played next to no Hearthstone. So this was very novel to me. But this leaves me with so many questions. If he hated the game so much and it made him so unhappy why would he not just come back to POE? It really speaks volumes to how much he dislikes playing POE and arpg's when he would rather subject himself to Hearthstone.
