Congratulations 😊
Landscape your fine content.
I tuned in this morning when I saw the live notification. Excellent video. I think that would look great with some open gear tuners!
I actually just salvaged a set from an old guitar last night, might have to try it on my next build!
@OffCenterWoodworks cool. Gitty sold what they called "Piedmont" special open gear tuners last year and I picked up a couple to tryout soon.
i subscribed !!!! looking forward to binge watching your channel!!
Thanks Del! Keep rockin man!
Looks like X2N pickup
That’s my thought as well, only as far as I am aware, dimarzio always had branding on the base plate, but I’m not an expert by any means.
No sanding, use remover to maintain integrity. Imo
Plan to use heat on the nitro cellulose, finish, only light sanding where absolutely needed.
If that’s the one that had a p-90 originally and the Les Paul looking pickguard with the wrap bridge 90 degree neck angle it’s pretty rare more sg jr than sg1 . I’ve seen another early front rout just like that the sg1 had the neck only pu small chrome control plate and the weird bridge that one is a killer
It originally had a Gibson mini humbucker. Some one did a very shotty job of chiseling out the cavity for the humbucker.
maybe a schalleer pickup
I believe it is an early Dimarzio DP102/ X2N, but it has no marking to be sure.
Not an early x2n Has 80s Ibanez vibes or maybe like the one in that Washburn Ace Frehley thing they did for a little bit
I'd see what you can accomplish on the headstock with a clean and a polish first. I'm not sure what your plan for the rest is though but the less you do to the headstock the less you can damage.
Agreed, I’d rather not compromise the integrity of the original markings.
Don't get heavy handed with the sanding. Especially around the headstock. Handle with care. All the luck removing the neck.
Being nitro cellulose, I’m hoping that heat and a scraper will do 90% of the work with just a touch of sanding on the body, I’d prefer to avoid compromising the integrity of the original markings on the headstock if at all possible.
Pickup could be a Hot Rail.
I am leaning toward an early Dimarzio DP102/ X2N. But without any markings, it’s difficult to be sure.
Nice build dude .pick up next time .😅
It has a piezo and I can always add one. Donny @ Fear No Beard CBG and pickups makes great shallow mount hand wound Pickups, might add one soon!
Quite the undertaking! Be interesting following from start to finish ...
It will be my first time removing a set neck, it is proving to be quite stubborn… 😂🤣😂🤣. Update soon!
Cool project. Good luck with the neck removal!
Thanks!

Cool and great sounding build, Casey. The sound of Appalachia!
Thanks David! I will definitely plan to build more diatonic instruments!
wicked Cool build
Thanks Manatee Mike! 🤣😂🤣😂
Love the tail piece . Great job !

Yes dude!
🤘🏻🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘🏻 thanks bro!
Sound sick! 🤘🏻
Thanks!
Love it!
Thanks Steve!
Don't refinish it!!!! Clean and polish only! Keep everything original that can be kept!
I’d love to, but the nitrocellulose finish is literally falling off of it and the customer wants it refinished.
Nice playin! Looks and sounds great!
Thanks Jesse!
Looks epic Casey!! 🔥
Sounds great, Casey. Your headstocks are what sets your cbg's apart from others, along with the great tones!
❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️
I'm convinced that a solid state Peavey combo could survive a Tornado, Flood, Nuclear attack and be put in a furnace and still turn on and make sound. They're built like tanks. 🤣
FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
larry and I are watching you....while watching this haha
great job!
Thank you!
Sick one bother!
Thanks!
Well done!
Thanks! I’ve got to get into the swing of recording more of the process.
❤
Thanks Tim!

Still rocking with my bugs 3 I've had 3yrs now...take those guards off! I paid 150$ on my second one now, got it 6 months ago and paid 59$! One hell of a drone for the price and has many capabilities for upgrades, super smooth flight as well. The aggressive design makes it look bad ass
Thanks for watching and Commenting! Yes, don’t have much to compare to yet, but this has given me the confidence I needed to take a step into the fpv world . Just ordered a 85mm whoop. I’m working toward taking the guards off, just trying to find a good source for props. Tried the blomiky props from Amazon and were junk. Let me know if you know of any good sources.
@@OffCenterWoodworks open the bugs up and check it out there are extra plugs for fpv hook up Google it and you can find upgrades real cheap. best drone for the price I've ever flown by far. where the light in front is you can put a camera there
I had planned to do that when I settled on which fpv goggles I’m buying. Pulled the prop guards yesterday, WOW what a difference.
