All good roblox games are packed behind literal thousands of cashgrabs, and that is the main problem on roblox. Cashgrabs get so many players to where games with actual passion behind it are left behind gathering basically no players. The people who make games with passion are demotivated because of the results they get. Cashgrabs are ruining creators who want to make games for fun rather than only for money. And that's the problem, roblox only promotes it's biggest, most popular games. Almost all those most popular games are cashgrabs. For example, the +1 every second but you're a ____ series of games. All those games are copied and pasted, and only the thing you are in changes. That's it. And they all get thousands of players. Other devs seeing all this money being practically printed from these games update their good games into cashgrabs too. Speed run 4 was a game with a great reputation and fun gameplay, until it's newest update. This update added pets, energy, and money. That update took all soul out of the game, making it feel like a simulator. I think that is why games are so boring nowadays, they feel like there was no effort or care behind it. A good game is not only good gameplay, but a game with good care from the developers. I have been really enjoying lumber tycoon 2, because to make money you actually have to be actively playing the game to get money instead of AFKing overnight. In lumber tycoon 2, you actually have to work for things. There are two main ways of making money, trees and trading. In a lot of tycoons, you buy stuff that is already pre-built, then wait to try and finish the tycoon. Then what after? A lot of games nowadays involve a LOT of waiting. Lumber tycoon 2 also has a good vibe around it, and it feels like the devs actually care about the game. Every year on Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas they add new limited items to the game, leaving people excited for what's next. Now let's talk about clicker games. Have you ever gotten good at a clicker game without an autoclicker? probably close to never. Have you ever played a clicker game and had always been there actively playing the game? probably not. I feel all clicker games have the same music, eggs, pets, map, and worlds. After a while, it just gets boring and you never play again. Games like lumber tycoon 2 you can play for a really long time and never run out of things to do. I've never honestly been into a game for longer. You can keep getting limited items, you can get every item, make a shop, make any building with any color, and to get colors you actually have to work hard to get it. There may be good, engaging games out there but they are buried under a mountain os slop. There are few good games that is widely known. If you feel like lumber tycoon 2 is grindy, that's because you are making it grindy. You control everything you do. There are a lot more reasons why roblox games are horrible now, but this comment is looking more like a video script
