    LCA needs to hook you up with a Vane Master Pro. I just switched from a Bitz to a VMP and boy what a difference.

    My experience with pin sights for 3-D unmarked shoots where binoculars were permitted..train on yardage to the yard in everyday day activities even without shooting , during work or leisure in every environment and lighting ,use very high quality hi resolution bino’s !..consistently in form is key no deviation whatsoever, range (yardage)impact is always with sight in point..no assumptions to impact point…my teacher taught me…practice don’t make perfect….perfect practice makes perfect !!!

    Nice short vid to highlight the importance of proper alignment of the sight for Al the axis. Can you also share a how-to vid on the actual adjustments to make on the sight, what tools and methods?

    what I've been unsure about is if setting 1st axis to the string is really the right thing. At rest the string is in a stable static position that it'll never be in during a shot. At full draw depending on your limb/cam lean, the string could be 3 mm one way at the bottom and 2 mm at the top ie off to one side and maybe slightly angled. The only thing common to the bow at brace and at full draw at all shooting angles is the riser. Is the riser not the best reference to go by? I'd love to hear your thoughts on that because i'm probably missing something. Also, you know how commonly the sight pins often end up outside of the string when viewed from behind, or maybe you've moved centre shot left to cure a stubborn right tear so your housing also ends up out there slightly. in those situations the sight is looking straight forward but you are looking across it slightly. Does that not mean your effective/dynamic third axis is going to be off?

    We learned exactly what you’re saying from a guy who’d been fairly successful at ASA “ get your tape on the bales but fine tune on the animals.” I know for myself, as I get better at really knowing where the bonus rings are, I shoot with more confidence, especially on those low light, tree obstruction shots you’ll get.

    Can you remove the pin and only use a lens? And then put it back if you wanted?

    • @MrRay645
      @MrRay645 2 роки тому

      yes you could, but I could not find way to light a colored dot on a lens (No angled hole for sight light to shine on lens center) lights mount to work though end of fiber with stock pin. Built amazing and look great but not a fan of the colored rubber bands, I feel they would be much better with a ring facing back at you like every single other scope manufacturer... not enough side view of the rubber band in my opinion and could offer reducer rings 41mm is pretty large for indoor
