Hi, i am a student in Poland. In my functional safety classes i need a p&id schematic for functional safety for my lessons. Is there a posibillity you could sned me the schematic you were drawing on? it Would be very helpfull. :D
Plz explain how to know distribution system with manual..
Why 90% vacuum is maintained in fw generator?
fantastic😍
Very informative Vedio 🎉
Good day po sir, after siyang magleave sa evaporator sir, hindi ba dapat high temperature Low pressure na siya sir since naabsorb naman na niya yung heat sa refrigeration compartments po sir?
informative
Galing m idol
I need a set of flywheels like that for my next stroker engine. I wonder if S&S can make me some pistons... 😳

Hi topping
Sir procedure for ballasting and de ballasting naman.thanks
Hi sir
Hi sir
Most crankshaft defection gauges are now digital. And record everything internally. Deflectors are usually taken, on a planned maintenance schedule, every 6000hrs. Always taken before and after dry-dock. If the vessel grounds they are always taken before restarting the engine. If deflections are out of specifications, it can identify a multiple problems, like alignment, main bearing problems or even like I said hull damage.
Thanks for the video sir, salute. Sir may i ask? Why do we need to wait for 10 minutes after idle run before we put a load? And is there any parameter to be watched or time to wait before we changover after we put a load? Thanks sir
The video was very helpful. Easy to understand and the teaching method was Perfect .
Kaha ho
Machinist here. Totally off topic, but does anyone else in metalworking think that those connecting rods would make some really nice donor material / parts? Im assuming they are actually forged alloyed steel rods. That center section looks like its big enough to turn out a couple V8 automotive sized crank shafts, cams, etc made from it. Just wondering if any other machinists ever tried something like that, re-using an old forging as material. Might be because a funky forging grain pattern weirdness Ive never fully learned about. Now then!! I got you thinking huh.. 🤩cheap forgings? 🤔 Maybe a no go for big 24 inch long workpieces? Argg now i need to google a bunch. darn brain always asking to be fed...
To salvage this you need to dismantle the whole ship and engine, it would cost hundreds of thousands just to get there and enjoy the free metal... It's probably not that alloyed too because it's just designed to be super big and strong rather than being a technical alloy. It's not going to space or in a car, weight doesn't matter here so it's made oversized to be rigid and last, it doesn't need to be heat resistant and won't suffer from huge stress cycles and oil will take care of corrosion resistance. So I guess it's just simple steel with some heat treatment here and there. I don't even know if it's possible to forge those huge things, but if it's forged, there's not much interest into using them for other parts that don't follow the same shape. In the worst case, the material strands will not follow the direction you need for your part and have horrible dimension stability over time, or have weak spots everywhere
@@Orakwan The reason I asked is these are readily available. They are already out and in piles by the score! That was why I asked. So basically only use a section following the general shape and contours for best bet. TY. PS you must not be very familiar with modern metalworking. Those rods and forgings are slammed so compact its astounding. An earthquake every hit. No different then a 1 inch piece or a 10 ft piece. Its all forged proper and quality steel alloy. Why did you even answer if you arent sure?
Shit's real when there are doors in the crankcase for individual cylinders. Fucking DOORS.
Do these giant engines not have counterweights on the crankshaft?
We want to see inside when its running
Thanks a lot.U help me as New Marine Engineer.❤
