367 Collins Falcons - Pigeon Delivery: Mama Falcon’s Snack for the kids - 20241024
It's been hours since the little ones had lunch. Mom went hunting and returned with a big pigeon for her babies. Just as she's about to finish the last of it, Dad shows up with another delivery, but the kids are too full to eat any more.

Very cute! They're curious about what papa is thinking. Maybe he wants them to relocate to that nest since it's getting hot.
Soon Papa will be smaller than the babies
Never seen two meals at one time.
They're getting big really fast.
hahaha poor daddy
They don't look comfortable, maybe the heat...good job mom.
big rain today, hope to cool down a bit
where is this nest located?
367 Collins Street Melbourne
Hi ,I see the cock bird as the ring on the right leg ? the reason why, the cock bird are allway right, not like us humans
Looks like food for the pantry 😅
poor thing was going to feed them and she took it away, then the chicks like "you woke us up for THIS?!" LOL thank you for sharing! ☺♥
Hi lemon green, another successful year for the peragrine Falcons
Hi Peter, yes, it’s been a great year for the peregrine falcons!
Who the hell designed that? Awful!
I have watch these falcon for 4 years now allways enjoy the videos, keep up the good work😂
The two on the ground are done for.
Wow, I told you last year to fix that nest, brother! That's the worst design I've ever seen for an owl, and the deck too. Please fix it. For their safety. Poor babies have been falling off and attacked for the past few years.
Horrible nesting site!
Not a nest build for a owl...
This pair of Long-eared Owls has been nesting here for several years, and the landowner has assisted in improving the nest several times. Perhaps because there were too many owlets to fit, this may have led to the fledgling falling from the nest.
He’s still on the ground, you can hear it crying for food/mama.
What has happened to the two babies that fell???? Hopefully, they are taken care of!???
I haven't checked the blog of Madarles website, but I'm sure that Mr & Mrs LEO have taken good care of their owlets
I'm think they two..I'm remember this happen behind my mom hard..one em owls feels so got gloves n all his leg was broken..me n my bro discided to take care of till it got older!! Then he went his way...what make crazy...every fall or that owl comes every blue moon to visit us by the tree n we feed him and all....that 10 years ago 😔 Havnt seen it in a long time since I moved on..
Taken care of way the mafias "take care" of someone.
逆に夜目が効くフクロウは夜にチョウゲンボウの巣を攻撃するから 昼にチョウゲンボウがフクロウを見つけると攻撃するのは自然の流れ
have the owlets made it back to the nest
No, none of them made it back to the nest.
@@LemonGreen441why donot you do something?
Sooo adorable!!!! Life in Nature is very dangerous for these little ones!!!
so does anyone have a source on what happened to the fludged owlet?
Thanks for keeping us informed!!! Love these Owlets and Mama!!
I see Mom...where are the 2 babies??
are the 2 owlets ok???
is Mom ok????
Mom is OK, she should return in next breeding season in 2025
The owner of this cam needs to build a better porch and bigger nest box or build a nest to small for the owls
Dead, eaten by cayotes
ohh that's so sad, although it is the law of nature that the strong will eat the weak, it is indeed sad to lose an owlet.
Do we know what happened to T3?
Beautiful young owls. Amazing.
Beautiful. 💜
Those eyes!
2024 Season is starting, pair is in the nest :)
Thank you dear, I've been watching and expecting to see them laying the 1st egg 🙂
Where is this nest located?
In Ennis, Texas, United States.
What happen to the chick?
it didnt survive from the disease
@@LemonGreen441 i think he's chocked by the food
How sad, but it seems like she's fine now I look forward to it 2024
Same😢
I miss them so much!
Hi there. I was searching for anyone else who follows this nest to see if you had any idea of what has been going on. I have not seen mom on her eggs for hours now, and I had a brief glimpse of dad but he looked rather rough himself. Any thoughts?
There's update from the group admin, as the group is set to private, you may not be able to see the post, hence I copied the content and pasted below
Hi all, We have been monitoring the situation on the site overnight and unfortunately it isn't looking positive. We have observed periods of at least 4 hours off the eggs overnight, and longer periods without incubation in general. There is also some concern about how the female has been incubating the eggs overnight. Here is what we know from the help of Victor's knowledge: * There is a chance that eggs can survive 3-6 hours unincubated, but it is very dependant on what the ambient conditions are. With recorded temperatures getting down to 6c overnight, this isn't encouraging. * From observations in other sites they can remarkably resilient * It's hard to speculate on this as the time it takes for eggs to become unviable are not accurately known. * The change in behaviour can indicate the female thinks the eggs are not viable, which can cause her to give up incubating duties * He doesn't believe there is an adult peregrine intruding on the site, due to the lack of agitated calls and no direct evidence from the behaviour of the falcon pair. Victor is out in the field, but will check in tonight and make a call as to what to expect. I'm hoping that we get a good outcome based on the features of this being an excellent site, and it helping protect the eggs. I know wildlife isn't always easy to watch. Thanks so far to everyone keeping a level head, and the moderators doing good work keeping the group on mission. Leigh
@LemonGreen441 you are correct, I am not a part of the group you mentioned. What an absolute bummer... I really enjoyed them last year and was so impressed with how they handled 4! Well if you get any more information I would be so grateful if you could pass it on. Thank you so much for the reply.
@@LegoBombed An update from Victor Hurley (National President at Australasian Raptor Association) tonight - "As I write 10:30pm, 8th Oct, 2023 no adult has been on the eggs since 6:39pm. That’s again another four hour stint and counting without incubation. More significantly, F22 has been sitting on her perch at the other end of the nest ledge tonight after sunset for over 2 hours and has shown no sign of attempting to incubate her eggs. I must say the female (F22) does look more than a little “worse for wear” over the past few days and way beyond looking “windswept and interesting!” to me. That and her current lack of interest in incubating her own eggs speaks volumes to me. I am going to say “she knows something I don’t” about the state of her eggs. The urge to incubate those eggs (by both parents) a week out from the likely hatching date(s) should be so strong that baring physical separation, death would normally be the only thing keeping them from covering those eggs. This pair may have ongoing sporadic stints of incubation from time to time over the next few days but I think the end is going to be the same. Four unhatched eggs in various positions in the nest box. I don’t think these eggs are going to hatch this year. *The literature does not specify what “too much time” actually means."
@LemonGreen441 so it's f22 that I've been seeing a bit rough. Her eye looks odd too. What a bummer. Again, I thank you for not leaving me in the dark. I'd rather know (even if it's bad news) than wonder.
I miss them so much! ❤️
here comes the update from the property owner - facebook.com/photo/?fbid=713868744108318&set=a.464930612335467
All the little noises…. Sounds that I didn’t expect from any owl! It’s like a little conversation!
I hope they decided to nest here.
Would these be same Mom and Dad than last year?
From the discussion in the Facebook group, they seem to be the same pair.
@@LemonGreen441 Thank you!
Temperatures may over 30 when these young chicks are born, how will they survive in the heat!!!
yeah, that would be a problem, they need shades
