If you don't have the hydraulic pump you can perform the "top-down" method. This would require two people. Have one person pressurize the system (pumping and holding the rudder pedal), while the other person releases the bleeder valve at the brake caliper. Just be sure to keep added fluid to the master cylinder, otherwise you will continue to pump air in to the system! Hope this helps!
@@davecruzen9352 oh come on don't BS me, I'm an a&P mechanic and pilot. I know for a fact that maintenance is overlooked all the time, That's just the nature of the beast. I believe this aircraft has a pretty good track record when things were over designed and overbuilt but the mechanics working on these things aren't as good as the ones coming out of world war II or Korea or Vietnam
Wrong cartridge ? A gun smith should be able to tell you what to use. Is the rifle not marked? Maybe a miss marked rifle . That is a lot of resizing and reforming. JoeB
This show of technological extravagance is surely far outgunned and outteched by advancements not yet or never to be shared with the public that pays for it.
Keep in mind, back in the late 80s, the military didn't even reveal the existence of the F117 until after it had delivered the first payloads of the Panama campaign. Revealed in 1988, it had been developed in the 1970s and was operational in 1983. I am convinced we have some amazing new weapons platforms that we will only see for the first time when either Russia, China, North Korea or Iran cross the line in a major way. Also keep in mind, this is a F22 which was developed over 30 years ago and has been operational for almost 20 years. It is still the baddest mamba jamba in the sky.
They said they were 50 years ahead of everyone like 10 years ago, they can literally do 90% of missions by drone if they wanted, no one matches the f35
Where did you find the tool to pressurize the 5606 into the caliper? TIA,
Made in the USA

More accurately a Cessna brake system. Piper brakes are completely different.
great video but I was hoping all your videos were like this one about maintenance, change to just maintenance videos and I'll subscribe
We would love to! Just gotta get our own shop. More in the works!
Can you give us the part number for that pump your using?
if only this worked on a Piper, Diamond, or Mooney
It does, sort of.
Braman braman. CerkenloJa ja😂😂😂😂
Carrier pilot!
😅
Happy birthday Eddie😊😊
Thank you!
Grew up near the jet testing grounds in LA area during Vet Nam. Got used to the beat of these.
You these guys before that air ship is a work 🐎
Nice video, good job but I wouldn't fly in something that old That's just ridiculous these things belong in a museum
They are still in use for various situations. Well built helo as long as maintenance specs are adheared to and air frame too. Age means nothing.

Did a lot of lifts with you guys in Detroit. Durr, GK , Tri Mark,ABB,Flatt, AB Myr. 70s 80s 90s.
Where did you find that plastic fitting for the hose going in the top of the master cyl?
Did you ever get an answer 😭

Looks like they have wire strike protection installed on this machine
Dang!
Pretty sure those are f18s. F22s have a more triangular delta-style wing
18 or 16 depending on how many vertical stabilizers they have.
F22
I think f22s cost so much to operate the airforce would never donate 2 for public display. F22 are much larger than these birds.

Ya-ba-da-ba-do!

Have you seen the proposed SR-72?

I've seen this Manoeuvre in the 90's on an Airshow (ILA Berlin), performed by a MiG-29 Fighter.

A lot of power!
It is crazy to me how this helicopter design has stood the test of time so well
Pure thrust, very cool
This bird is one of the most beautiful builds ever. The avro vulcan is the most impressive i ever heared
Ein schönes Flugzeug ❤❤
Very helpful and far from boring! Thanks Slim and Eddy. My calipers will be calipering in no time!
I am kinda biased. If mine that would go back to it's original Navy colors.

My favorite sound-55 years ago.
I can here fortunate son playing now😂😂😂
Mmm, remonds me of the one in Unstoppable.
That's an old bird, quite ancient by our standards today.
We couldn't agree more, we are hoping to get some good footage of more modern aircraft soon! It is a lot of fun to see how far we have come!
That's yours?!
We wish!!! Maybe some day if our pockets permit it!
Is this at a museum somewhere?@@SlimAndEddy
Looks like a nice to be flying!
February has been exceptionally nice this year! How is it where you are?
Good to see the caliper calipering
The caliber is best at calipering!
That's got to be crazy fun!
It sure looks like it!
