Nice to see someone else get them. 🎉
@@TimBoss2000 4 now. Yet no changeover. I assume changeovers are more recognisable and not so easy to miss.
I've got six or seven of them but haven't found one for nearly a year 👌
Great content bro. Keep up the good work. There are big differences between batches and sub batches.Depending on what you keep one batch will be better than another but there ARE differences.
@@TimBoss2000 thanks for watching. Sorry you lost me...what coins are you referring to when you talk about batches?
@@NomadUniverse So yeah. It's a bit of a thing. I'm what you might call a high volume $1 freak averaging about 10-15k a week and there are differences. Wind the clock back to 2021-22 and all anyone was getting were red rolls, then we got purple which were for six months or more drier than a dingoes toes. Then we got orange! Then we got a mix of old and new reds then old and new purples all with different kinds of green for the Armaguard logo. then oranges etc etc etc. What you've gotta understand more than anything is that the brown paper tones over time and darkens. The lighter the brown paper the less exposure it has had to elements and the "newer/fresher" it can be considered to be. Of the many different kinds of toned oranges then lighter the paper the more recent it has been rolled and old dark brown papered purples were rolled a long time ago.
@@TimBoss2000 well thats all very interesting. I've only seen the dark red and the orange. Orange has a greener armorguard shield, red bluer. I statred about 3 months ago and got all orange rolls up until about a moth ago when the red started appearing for me. Which ones yield better for you?
@@NomadUniverse good question bro. What you call red are what I call purple. What yields better well that depends what you collect lol I collect mules and I've found them in everything. But I'll give you a bit of a breakdown. Old reds the old old reds from three years ago had 2021 mors and plenty of UNC nifcs. Old reds provided me UNC 89,90,91,07,12 Mors (the whole set) 2001 rotations and all manner of things. There's nothing since quite like the good old old reds. The old reds gave me two mules. Then there were the first purples - good GACHs etc and a lot of stuff that I just throw back big things, AFLs, matildas, anzacs... the later purples brought forth the Charlies but there were also some 2021s thrown in occassionally after the great audit of Xmas 2023 and the prosegur takeover. The oranges are lighter on the UNC stuff and heavy on AFLs but generally have a lot of the 2000s and you can't find mules that aren't 2000s unless you reckon there are 2014 mules lol (I've never found one and I've noodled +/- one million one dollar coins [0.1% of the population]) Like anything there are variables in batches ie. Paper toning can vary but generally when the first roll drops out of a machine I know what's in it, how fresh it is, when it was rolled, where it was rolled and by whom it was rolled. There have been plenty of times that I've had $1200 cash to empty a full machine but have had to walk away after dropping sixty bucks because another machine may yield better.
The other thing that Armaguard enjoy doing in SEQ as a method of regulating circulation is to introduce what I call "tracer coins". Periodically they will introduce very damaged and highly polished junk coins into the pit and count how many come back to them. High volumes of return indicate high volumes of circulation and they take measures to regulate circulation.
I didn't even know there was other channels I'm just sticking with your
@@australiaisnotrealjustaska4379 I appreciate that but I will say if it werent for their inspiration and support I wouldnt be doing it. I'm just a noobie round here :D @PhilFindsCollects @TassieCoinHunter @CoinCudsCollect are 3 great channels I recommend.
Wow man, the K for kangaroo has been the most difficult one for me to find 🤷♂️. Took 3 years for me to find one, I now have four 👍.
@@stevepunter3704 I have about 1/4 - 1/3 of each Coin Hunt set. I imagine it will be quite a while before I find them all with the noodling the way it is lately. Really after the O for Opal from series 3, thats my other main hobby, opal cutting. Its on hold for now though until I find a more permanent residence.
@@NomadUniverse understandable, I still don’t have my own place after being evicted cos the landlord sold the house 😒. I enjoy metal detecting as it’s been relaxing, rewarding to a degree and keeps my mind off the stresses of life for a while 👍. When I get my own place I will be setting up my desk and sorting, culling, adding and upgrading heaps of coins to my collections 💪🍻🥳. Just have to find a place before I get too excited 😒. I’ll have to send you some pics of some stuff I’ve found.
@@stevepunter3704 I'll be doing a Discord server at some point where everyone can post pics and discuss coins. I hope you find a place soon. Just went through it myself.
@@NomadUniverse cheers bud 🍻.
A tough noodle is still a noodle. Keeps things real, especially for those of us who do not get the opportunity to do any noodles... USA - no Aussie coins, unless I order them. Please keep on going...
@@kenmcdaniel2134 wont be stopping me! I'm a gamer. All about that RNG. I know good noodles are ahead! Thanks Ken!
I feel the pain brother, I haven’t had much luck with the one dollars for about a month 😒. I noodle around 1500+ coins a week and I’m going to now have a go at the two dollars again. I noodle all denominations but the one dollar coins are usually interesting 👍. I got 50 rolls of one dollars today, noodled 15 rolls for a tidy 1984 and a sharp looking landcare.
@@stevepunter3704 check Landcare for mint mark. If the dollars dont produce tomorrow I'll do 50s.
@@NomadUniverse I’ve found two landcare with C mint marks. I got 2 bags of fifties and one bag of twenty’s today and still have a left over bag of one dollars from this week, this should keep me busy until Monday- $1000.00 🍻.
@@stevepunter3704 the day will come when I can ask the bank for bags. Some biiiiig noodles coming to the channel around february.
@@NomadUniverse sweet.
G'day 👍 🪙
@@jobbiecoinsandstamps Heya Jobbie!
I wish I had nine about the Federation I had hundreds of never looked for that
@@australiaisnotrealjustaska4379 never too late. Its been out for 23 years and still being found
I’ve found 2 car wash tokens in rolls myself but the ones I found had a vintage car on one side and the no cash value on the other 😒, still kept them. Might pay to flip the Henry Parkes and be pleasantly surprised by a rotation 😉. I’ve found one.
Great score on the rotation bud 🥳🍻.
I got that Australian animal 50 cent piece today
Go to Bendigo bank and you can get up $1,000 bag of $1 coins
I brought mine from RAM
I'm the first
You have found 2 2021 mor and a great rotated 2001 centenary coin in 2 noodles of just a few rolls. I have never found either from thousands of rolls. You have done very well. Let's us know that they are still out there we just have to keep looking.
Always something popping up to keep things interesting!
First person i have seen noodle a 2021 m o r . I haven't found any yet. I find the changeover regularly. What state do you live in. The background noise is nothing to worry about as far as I'm concerned.
@@wisey95 Cheers Wisey. In the ACT. I got a 21 about 10 videos ago as well. 4 in total now, all noodled. Heading to the bank again shortly. Maybe today's the day for a changeover.
Great find!!

I am soooo jealous of the 2001 rotation! I wish I could noodle Aussie coins here in the states! I have to collect from afar... 🤨 I am happy for you sir! Well done!!

You might be onto something with the roll colours - I saw on Tassie coin hunters channel someone made a comment stating armaguard took all mules and changeovers out in the 2023/24 coin audit. Via @TimBoss2000 . Seems very unfair if true. Love your channel btw!
@@RelOKeefe Thank you. Sorry I didnt see this sooner! Its a theory indeed. But it wouldn't be worth it to them as company. If any individual within is doing it I doubt they could do enough to make them all disappear without them being seen. I did a bigger noodle comparing the different rolls and I'm not convinced either way yet. Might have to do more testing today. Welcome to the channel, thanks for being here!
You are definitely not "boring the s#!t" out of me sir. I greatly appreciate the banter and descriptions of possible errors. I like when CCC does it also. I am now following four Aussie noodlers, you, CCC, Tassie and Phil. All of you have your own style, but the common thing is you take the time to share some tidbits on knowledge you have picked up, and show where us viewers need to look for things. As an Aussie coin fan in the USA, I appreciate the shared knowledge. I cannot "noodle" but I do have a $2, $1 and 50-cent Aussie collection, much to my missus dismay. Please keep doing what you're doing. Thanks!

Hi mate, I replied in detail when you asked the other day :) check through your notifications
I did have three mint rolls of the ANZAC ones
depending on what years they still fetch a price. 2014 had 10x that of any of the other 4 years minted.
I'm going to film my shity little collection send you a link
I have loads of random coins from all over and have some of these? What ones are worth looking out for or low montage years in from London uk
Unfortunately I dont know anything about UK/foreign coinage, but the mintage figures are likely on the Royal Mint's website like ours are on the RAM website. I have a bag of random foreign coins myself, mostly collected from the reject chute when I go to swap my coins over. I could be starting work in a coin shop soon so hopefully my knowledge wont stay limited to Australian decimal coins for long! Thanks for watching and commenting!

The more I watch your channel I'm like oh my god in another lifetime we could have been friends
