In this video we are disassembling the Iconic Rotary Engine out of a 1993 Mazda Rx7 FD3S. You can see a couple of the things that we found which is a broken apex seal which resulted in a gouge in the rotor housing.

Jay’s FD3S also gets a Banzai Racing Transmission Brace and Differential Brace installed to help reinforce the drivetrain for when he sends it!

This dude should have taken the exhaust off from the jump and starting at the downpipe connection. Looks like he waisted so much time chatting. The exhaust unbolts from the hangers... a 10 minute job. Finished my car by myself in 5 hours...2021 m550i. Those guys finished in two days. lol
how did you take off the whole intake housing? i have no idea how to get that off to get access to the downpipes themselves.

1000-1500$ and yes you’d should it sounds amazing I just recently had them installed on my 22 M550 ( also have both resonators deleted )

@@FastRedPonyCar no not yet, I have Downpipes, intakes, and a JB4 “ tune “ so the check engine light is still on. I’m sending the ECUS out next week to get unlocked so I can get a real tune

I was at one of those, literally a whole group of cars just pulled up on the belt parkway everybody stops the two cars lineup they dash off and then everybody gets to their cars and books it back to the gas station usually on 150th. Always mad fun.

What are those, the ARM downpipes? They don’t look like the high dollar European ones, and pretty sure VRSF hasn’t released their N63R ones, so they gotta be ARM or some eBay crap. Put the Tune on that thing. JB4 or if you can afford it, a flash. You gotta make up 75hp between that one and the new ones.
