It’s interesting but we think about the universities leveraging sports as form of revenue and the students get an education out of it .. However, you got to college to create opportunities and the NIL and portal allow the student athletes to create more opportunities.. This is our opinion.. Thank you for watching !

We think they will bring balance to the system.. The system before was so one sided where the universities and coaches made millions while select athletes who go on to the NFL or other professional sports .. Now the NIL and portal can provide extensive opportunities outside of sports where students can benefit if they are not the select few to turn professional.. Also, NILs puts the student athletes on pair with the student body because the student body can generate an income while in school..

It's the American equivalent of the OED. OED used to be free online for a few years but they quit offering it, so I would have to go to a library and look at a paper copy... (or pay for the online service). Are you sure you saw the exact phrase "martial arts" in some 1500s book? Where can others find this? Anyway, western boxing is obviously very different from, say, Karate, as Karate has a lot more depth. It's like saying that NASCAR racing is the same as Formula E, or that a guy who performs in "sidewhows" in a suburb would be able to race in Formula E without more training. 🙂

@precipitatewaterandsports it is but you also got to understand that how this thing is set up it's not about winning your games no more it's just about being in the top 10 spots so if you can avoid winning a conference Championship game that doesn't mean anything anymore you actually can get in it look at Tennessee they lost the Georgia and they still in their Indiana lost Ohio State and they're still in Notre Dame we didn't play nobody is in there Ohio State who lost to Michigan who was 7 and 5 their in there and they lost the team at home so to me I don't like to playoffs I never like to playoffs they want to be like the NFL so bad to is ruining the game I honestly feel like we should just go back to the top two teams in the country everybody fight for number one and number two because that way you have to win all your games and I understand that people talk about strength of schedule but this is still college football if your schedule is tough you're going to lose games once you lose games and you slide out of that spot you lost your opportunity and somebody else who's winning their games move up regardless if we don't like the fact that they didn't play Nobody anything they stayed undefeated while somebody else was in a tougher conference can't handle it and lost it's just that simple all this we're giving people chances everybody don't deserve to win a National championship

@ I like the playoff system.. However, I believe the strength of schedule is skewed and this is where the computer would come in.. Subjectively people will say teams didn’t play anyone but you have to line up and play the game to see if that’s true.. With the portal a number of teams are getting better talent like 4 and 5 stars and now they are beating top schools.. With that being said .. It’s needs to be a mix of the computer and committee and think this will add real balance ..

I do, and standing in the corner waiting to chunk a three is not a skill. In fact, whole sport we watch today, it is not basketball. No defence, allowed to travel, double dribble, carry the ball is all leading to easier scoring. Which alltogether in fact shows lack of skill.

@@Lomno12these 7 footers can play outside in and inside out .. These new 7 footers have more than drop steps and basic post moves.. These guys play like guards and can run more complex offense not just pick and rolls .. They can pass and dribble .. Joker , Embiid, Wemby, Prozingas , and AD can all do everything Wilt can do and more .. They can do more than just shoot three pointers ..

I watched the video. I understand where NBA is qnd where it is heading. Trust me, i even understand what you are pointg at. But again the transformation of allowing it, made it different sport. Look at what is counted as an assist or rebound today and how it was counted 20y ago. Sorry, if same rules don't apply, then we are not talking about same sport. And about 7 footers practicing dribbling and other "guard" stuff. Trust, when circle will be complete (and it will), you will come back to the defaults and origins. Today's basketball is boring, has no intensity, no willpower, no competitiveness. There is nothing good in "buddy" basketball.

@ The sport has evolved and its allows for the position to be universal and the play calling more fluid.. Coaching is more creative and the game is becoming more entertaining.. As for buddy basketball I can agree .. It can seem to take away the competitiveness of the game .. With that said I think it’s the same sport and with 7 footers having the ability to play outside and inside the post adds a newer dynamic to the game that makes it more enjoyable / exciting to watch..

We have more Wilt Chamberlain now .. These 7- footers are skilled !!
