Jumbos we're using this airport- St Maartan in the Caribbean. It's well known fir a very short runaway. Tourists stand at the fence where the planes take off trying NOT to get blown in the beach a few hundred metres away from the end of the runway..

There was never a threat of any disaster. It took of and banked to make the turn. It’s not a car. I am from Jamaica and in Montego Bay tourist on the beach always make a big deal about low flying plane maneuvers

That's quite normal..most flights gets a small dip as captain turns towards the flight path after take off.

Why turn so soon?

I think it's due to heat that air behaves differently during day and that's why most flights happen during early morning and evening.
