Was not included on the video but the new brake line that I bought was I believe an updated line. It no longer hits or is even close to the steering shaft. So I did not need to do any adjustments. Questions please comment down below and subscribe for more f150 videos on 2018.

This is a video to possible help people with their cars not going into drive. This is a oil change of the rear differential on a Genesis Coupe 2.0T. Same method from the 2010-2012. Newer models should be almost the same. I went with the 75W90 GL-5 RedLine synthetic oil it seem to be something that everyone likes and has great ratings for this car. My car drives great it doesn’t reverse I just changed valve body but still don’t work I changed all the filters and sensors it’s a Cvt any help? I had code p1778 p0746 p0720
What engine do you have the 5.0 or the 3.5?

It could be your transmission valve body. It’s a solenoid that puts transmission into gear. Yours might be getting stuck and making it have a delay. That’s just my thought. Hope it helps.

@@AsifAli-qy2llI would recommend taking to a transmission shop for diagnostics and they might charge anywhere from $50-$150 they can tell you exactly what could be the issues. I don’t want your money to go to waste either. But the transmission valve body has fixed that issue for me in my experience. Before this issue did transmission run good? No issues?
Given that this transmission has no dipstick, how do you determine the level of fluid in the transmission. I am assuming there is a plug that will determine whether I have the appropriate level of fluid in the transmission. I just want to be sure that I am taking the right plug out to determine the level.

@@nestormacias9951 Yea man thanks again. Also, for anyone in the future watching I suggest using needle nose pliers to gently help guide the vacuum line, because it requires a bit of finesse. It took total of 20-40mins. Depends how small your hands are lol😆

I’ve been looking for this video for the longest. I have a 2012 Ford Edge Ecoboost and couldn’t do a transmission oil change because I didn’t know where to find the opening or dipstick to replace the oil once the pan oil was drained. I always had to pay but now thanks to this video I can do it myself.

I sell and install batteries, just had a customer come it with this vehicle. I swear, engineers never ever have the customer in mind when they build these cars. dismantling the entire inside of the trunk just to replace the battery is absolutely ridiculous to say the least smdh

I found residue all over the top of the transmission and no cap. I need to top it off. How can I check the level?
Honestly since it doesn’t have a dip stick, I know it’s the most expensive option but I would recommend you drain and refill to make sure you have proper amount so you don’t do damage to the transmission.

any Nissan with a CVT is crap after 100K especially ones that are V6.. your problem looks like range sensor or its adjustment lookup on how to set it. are at least that's what they were on the older maxima. basically you put in neutral and you aligned the sensor after loosening up some bolts. on the older RE4F04B transmissions on olde rmaxima that's how you did it. older maximas where alot better, I have one that is 23 years old and nearly 244k miles which I am getting rid of due to transmission problem that started at 202k and been limping along since 4+ years only having gears 1,2,3 and R no 4th (OverDrive)

I have an issue with a 2003 nissan pathfinder, when it starts in cold engine got no reverse until 9 or 10 minutes, as it warms it starts moving in Reverse, what can be happening to the transmission. I replaced fluids and nothing.

My car fails to move in Drive (D), as well as D2 or D1. To initiate movement, I must start the engine and leave it in D1 for approximately 15 minutes. Otherwise, the car does not respond. Any suggestions on what might be causing this issue?
Only reason I can see this happening is if you are in sub zero temps. Otherwise not sure.

Yes it is.
@@nestormacias9951 the part # you gave is for a 3.5 according to tasca parts.
Might be same part number for both engines. That’s what I used when installed, till this day I have not had any issues with it.
its usually the speed sensor on gearbox ,not speed sensor for speedo

Check to see if the small flap inside the fuel tank retracts. Since these trucks don’t have gas caps
If not you might want to change out that purge valve.
Did your engine have cloud tick almost like a knock? Also were u going thru oil bc of it?
No, oil level was fine. But Ford is known to have a small tick sound on their engines. I didn’t get to see what the issues were gonna be if I didn’t change it in time though. So hard to say if I was going thru oil to tell you the truth. But if you have a loud tick you might be low on oil for sure and have a leak some where. Do you have a code pop up on you?

Does anyone know what that black box is with hoses connected to it? Totally covering the sensor. Edit: Just remove the two lower bolts to it and moce it out of the way,, and you can get to the sensor. Also, I think it's sensor A. Mine has a problem with sensor B on the passenger side. Whole manifold has to come off.
Not sure what black you’re talking about but yes this is sensor a and for sensor b manifold have to come off. What side is the black box you’re talking about?
@@nestormacias9951 Secondary Air Injection Check Valve Kit with Valve, Retainer, Gasket, and Bolts - GM (12639990) It's in the way of the sensor and must be removed to get to it.
U skip how u take it out the sensor
It is one bolt that holds the sensor in place and the connector.
That is the hardest part I can’t get it to unplug for nothing.
“Push it down and pull the sensor out” no …. It’s push it back the black tab back den pull.
Is that the same part # for the intake side?
I don’t see 2 different type of cam positioning sensors so it should be the same for intake and exhaust.

It is MOTORCRAFT part # BRTF116 should say front left.

@@BaileyisHollow Nice! Yes I’d recommend you bleed the brakes. I got a self bleed brake line pump at auto zone for like 25 I believe very sturdy well made its green can’t think of the brand, but works very well. Hope it works out 👍🏼
This is so odd that you guys are commenting so recently. I had the same exact issue with my 2020 3.5l Lariat and took it to the ford dealership. They just called and quoted me $682 to fix it and they’ll have to order the part, which won’t be able to be put on until middle of next week.

Whats that platic thing that you had on you old battery and transferred to your new battery called? For the hose insert?? I’m trying to order it because I don’t have it is it a most? Or can I have my battery without the plastic on the hose??
It is called a battery vent elbow/ hose. You can buy them online or possibly find them at your auto part store. I’d recommend you get it just because your battery is inclosed in the back or your trunk.

Drain plug, or 'overflow" plug? What does the Service Manual say? Most of today's 'sealed' transmissions have very specific fluid level requirements, and specific steps needed to change or check fluid levels. Not all transmissions are merely filled until the fluid runs out the overflow hole. They typically require a specific amount of fluid at a specific temperature, as there's not much room for thermal expansion when the oil gets to a typical operating temp of over 100-deg. Blown seals result from over-filling, which can easily happen if you fill the transmission with room temp oil.
You have a 2.0t and you are misleading people!!!! If you had a 2.5 N/A you wouldn’t have the crossover for the turbo coolant or the Passover for the EGR you might fool some but seriously quit the fake shit bud

Hey Nestor. I was actually watching your camshaft sensor vedio and wanted to know where exactly I could find that sensor in my Cadillac ATS 2014. It does not look like yours it has a small box on it exactly where you took your sensor off. and i can't find any help or vedio a on how to instal sensor. Hope you can help thanks

Hey how many containers of oil do you buy? It’s my first time changing and I’m a little lost
I do 5 quarts of Mobil 1 and K&N oil filter and I use 5w30 just because it’s turbo and gets hotter so to keep temps lower I use a thicker viscosity.
Got a Nissan Versa hatchback 09 it shifts into Reverse but not into D automatically it takes a second to shift into Drive but if I put it in D1 it goes into gear if I put it in Drive it catches the shift?
Sounds like it could be your transmission control solenoid. Solenoids might be getting stuck. Make sure you have the proper amount of transmission fluid
also having the same problem in the morning only with nissan nv200 auto

@@nestormacias9951 Took the old battery out then closed the trunk. I have a new battery but now the car has no power to unlock trunk. Tried boosting it under the hood but not enough power to even turn on lights
