Try the add-on Ice HUD it helps with watching your health and the mobs health.

Stunnded targets can not block dodge or parry

If you’re interested in having the option to heal at some point, to be a good healer you don’t need any addons or fancy macros. The only except is I *strongly* recommend a mouseover macro. These make it such that if you’re hovering over a player’s raidframe (or character itself) it will heal that instead of what you’re targeting. Or if you’re not targeting a player or hovering over someone’s name/character it will heal you instead. These have two main benefits: 1) It saves a click since you don’t have to click a player or their raidframe before healing, and 2) You can maintain target on an enemy, which improves situational awareness and allows you to weave in debuffs/damaging spells on the enemy. This is really useful in dungeons especially, though maybe less so in raiding (for classic at least, in other versions of the game, particularly high-level retail, healers are expected to contribute damage). They’re also quite intuitive and a big QoL improvement in my opinion. I’m not at my computer to check but I believe the macro would look like this (for healing touch for example): #showtooltip Healing Touch /cast [target=mouseover,exists,noharm,nodead] [] Healing Touch

This didn't look like a server lag. Thing is, Blizzard runs its world as instances, each instance is on a different server. So if your server/instance lagged - everyone would lag at the same time. What this looks like is some form of a tunnel lag between the server and the user. If a big network node lagged - multiple players can be affected. Now that I think of it, Blizzard could have internal nodes for DDOS prevention or something like that, and those could lag.

You can make a Hunter macro to dismiss pet and then feign death.

Grubby your mana management as a healer is very lackluster in dungeons. Youre wasting tons of mana on inefficient healing spells (regrowth is terrible for healing), youre also wasting mana on over heals, and you constantly keep casting > thus never getting proper mana regeneration going (5 second rule). This might not seem like a big deal when everything is working out great and the pulls are mediocre sized, but if shit ever hits the fan (like in a scenario where your mage died), you might need every bit of mana to help your group survive... Except youll be oom because you played inefficiently when it wasnt an emergency yet. You need to learn downranking (lower level healing touch), and you need to stop spending mana all the time, in order to be able to regen mana in combat. You already have emergeny instant heals (swiftmend), so your priority should always be to heal as infrequently as possible and as much as is necessary. Youll still be able to instantly top off someone if they take a damage spike and you feel like you won't be able to heal in time (swiftmend), but now youll be able to utilize proper mana regeneration (5 second rule) and you will get access to healing touchs much better heal/mana ratio without losing mana on overheal (down ranking). Regrowth is a fast heal but a very mana inefficient one on top of most likely over healing. Only use it in emergency situations where you feel like the slower healing touch (down ranking) isnt gonna make it in time. Once you have omen of clarity on your resto build, you can start hitting mobs in melee (if its safe to do so) and if you get a clearcasting proc you can use it on regrowth. While regrowth is super mana inefficient, clearcasting makes it free, and the long duration of the HoT on the maintank can enable you to lay back and mana regen with the 5 second rule for a longer duration. Thats how you efficiently heal as a resto druid.

Mages can heal in SoD, and their main way to do it (at least main "raid viable" way) is to do damage and have a percentage of it converted to each member groups they've applied one of their regen spells to. Doing the frost healing build from BWL and now AQ has been quite fun, you get to do like 90% of the dmg of a DPS frost mage but also a crazy amount of healing to keep 1-2 groups topped off. I'm not saying you should play SoD, but I am saying in the future when they release other versions of "Classic+" I think you would really enjoy it, especially if they add spells/abilities that also modify raid rotations to be a little more involved and engaging (but still not as precise or complicated as some retail rotations).

I watched this from BacktoWC first, then wanted to watch yours, then watch your reaction. It was impressive and entertaining. Everyone played well, and mistakes were understandable (except your initial mirror image) Full recognition and moving on past that, great to see you and moon clicking without much additional communication. This was a good game series, thank you, Grubby!

Grubby many of those HCler (raidleaders included) dont know their stuff realy well, druid is an amazing tank and healer. There is a place in a raid for those but not multiple cats. PS: your auto attacks have to come faster when you are switching targets (only tab doesnt work), this takes you 2-3 sec. sometimes

I'm with Annie, I also set W to autowalk so I don't have to constantly press it. Don't remember when I made the change but it took a little getting used to but there are so many ways to stop walking (hit W again, hit S, mouse click) that as long as you're vigilant it's great 99.9% of the time. The other 0.1% you can use your mouse for precise movements, as Annie said. It's funny though that when guildies find out this is how I walk (including when doing high-end raiding content) they think it's crazy, and to that end I think maybe in only one retail mythic raid encounter was it an issue to the extent I felt I had to turn it off (and never in classic/SoD). And I can't remember the last time it caused an issue or I fell off something, pulled a mob, etc. unintentionally. Was cool hearing Annie mention that because I didn't know of anyone else who did this. Also, are you using the tilde (~/`) key for anything? It's a pretty useful and underutilized button for keybinding. On Mage I usually had it as Scorch.

Grubby don't listen to what they say...resto druids are amazing healers when played correctly. In both 5 mans and raids. They are not "complimentary healers".

USE rejuv bear macro get rage and frenzied regeneration. Especially because someone told you if you added the skill to your bear bar before, you deserved to die right there for your ignorance when you had an easy way to tank it. But i hope you get 60 and rogue after.

I thing the single biggest boon from Grubby's WoW journey is how he opened up and liked playing with others. Not only that, he now both looks forward and plans on doing future content with the people he met - for which I'm hyper excited about! So many great people

All these deaths are avoidable but they try to push the envelope. Unless you need surgery or to fix a broken bone doctors don't know much. If they push a pill say ok I might take that pill but only if you can tell me, what is the root cause and how can I fix it? Many ailments can be fixed by diet and doctors a) don't know that and b) they (or their business) get money for prescriptions.

Wow definitely is an amazing game if you're doing it with a good guild where everyone are friendly and cooperative. That - feels amazing. If you're on your own and join a random guild - it's 9/10 times a disappointment. A lot of guilds struggle majorly with churn, people quitting and being replaced all the time, recruitment issues that make raiding problemmatic, as well as internal drama. It really needs a strong and involved leadership, and (from experience) it is A LOT of work to keep things together. It's usually not fun unless you're into managing people - and people who're into that are usually the last people you want to see as your leaders. People who can lead well while not becoming totally power-tripping are 1/100. Soda's like that, but Soda isn't motivated by power and ruling - he's motivated by making the best content. That's why it was a meta at some point where there existed multi-game guilds of people that could move from game to game together. I watch Grubby and I'm really jealous but I don't wanna go and try my luck finding a good guild.

Most deaths in WoW are because of complacency... You start very careful with lots of internal rules. And because you live and get away with things, you start to cut corners. Bam. You're dead. Stay vigilant, stay alive. Cut corners, you die.

poems are definitely countable, even if you limit the context to a single poem - that can still be counted. because it is understood that there are many poems, isolating just one poem doesn't make it uncountable. i'd also argue that 'a poem' is not an abstract concept, because even without identifying what poem you're referring to, it is inferred that 'a poem' is a discrete piece of writing/composition. it has a concrete form, compared to selecting 'poetry' instead which you can easily make the case for it being an abstract concept. 'garbage' is the my favorite twenty questions stumper.
