My first attempt at wild swimming in the safe waters available around the UK! VERY COLD, gritty & brown! But what did I expect! Had a wonderful afternoon! Try again mid Summer next year I reckon? :-D

So... Years in the imagination, months in the making, from a lump of clay, plaster, a few bottles of latex & paint, other precious potions, time & patience... This happened! It's official, I now want to live in water!!!!! It's true, Elementary Didgeridoo Festival is magical!!! #thelandlockedmermaid

Laura, when you swim, forget your arms. Just use your mermaid tail and your arms to guide direction. Love from one mermaid to another.

Hi hun, you don't need a lot of the acrylic paint, I would suggest mixing & doing samples before starting the main project & noting the quantities as you go. I think on average, for each 1 litre of latex, I mixed 1 tea spoon of thickener & 3 tea spoons of paint (but I wasn't overly accurate as this one was my first & was my own. If I was working on a commission piece, I would deffo recommend measuring it) :-D xXx
