MIXING BINDERS The thirteenth video of the series considers a very European heritage, mixing binders. Which binders are compatible? What are the results? We might just scratch at the surface of the topic here but the principles considered are the foundation of the science. THE NATURAL CEMENT CYCLE The twelfth video of the series title may be a bit of a misnomer. Natural Cement curing produces more of a one way reaction. That being said, the chemistry is fascinating and the properties useful for specialized applications. For more information or to purchase a heritage plaster visit: www.primaterraplasters.com/

Thank u so much for this information!!!
Anywhere to get Stuc Pierre in the US?
thanks!
US question: Can you tell me the benefit of hydraulic lime over (readily available) bagged hydrated-lime mixed with some white-cement? Thank you very much!
Hydrated lime with cement is not lime mortar
@@daveburns8203 Very true. Never said that. Please let me edit: As we cannot get good lime putty here, and be lime purists, I am just trying to get info on the real differences if using a mix as mentioned. Thanks.
Hotlime can be used in cold weather
Merci pour les explications. Bravo
Thank you for the video! Q: What does happen to to gypsum plaster when it's stays against water? In most of the cases it becomes dusty.
c'est quoi ? du plâtre ?
A very dangerous video if the viewer is looking for information in order to restore their old property. Nothing wrong with Lafarge products at all, if one knows what their about using them.
Hello, when it turns to lime putty, does it need additional pigment and additives and binder to become marmorino plaster?
Thank you for posting this. Really enjoyed it.
very good indeed i am a heritage plasterer and use both hydraulic and non hydraulic limes, great videos very in depth
I like both marmorino and tadelakt, have installed quite a few bathrooms with it now ..and all of them with my own mix....
thank you for this video series... !
Did you achieve that color with a white lime mixed with brown sand?
Lafarge NHL, Natural Hydraulic Lime, is now available to the US market from Prima Terra Plasters.
