Christ personally washed the apostle's feet after they were with him for years. Then he gave them authority. This foot washing and authority is not naturally imputed to other believers. The washing of the feet only comes by personal relationship with God through Christ, towards the end of one's journey on the straight and narrow. Disciples to Apostles to Martyrs. This is the pattern God gave us. And he does not change.

Foolish means stupid. Reactionary is not Biblical. Go to the Word of God, which is the authority. Worship of God is morally right: He deserves it, and we need to worship God. We must see God as He is presented in the Bible. We study the Word to change our lives. Let everything that has breath praise God. Praise God's names. What is worship? Important that we define things. Worship God in spirit and truth. Worship is from an old English word worth-ship. Can't live your life on your feelings. The Bible says, "Give thanks; count your blessings." Name your blessings. Be thankful things are not worse. We are immeasurably blessed. It is not natural for people to pray. Contemplation is deep thinking, which we need to do. Atheists are people who hope there is no God. God doesn't perform obvious miracles today. God is the omnipotent power of righteousness. God is just, and His justice must be fulfilled. God is merciful because He does not demand immediate justice. Jesus satisfied God's demand for justice. God is compelled to do good. Believers are joint heirs with Christ. Whom He justified He glorified. The House of the Lord is heaven. God gives generously. We must magnify and exalt God. We must practice our worship of God. Thank Him. Praise Him. A thankful person sees that which can bring joy. GREAT SERMON. LISTEN TO IT.

Good morning, Pastor Steve: Great sermon. Please raise the volume. Good comments by Pastor Steve: The closer we get to the Lord, the more sinful we see that we are; God has grasped us, but we have not grasped Him. Our past can cripple us; don't remember what has affected us negatively; confess our sins and move on; ignore missed opportunities We should recall the blessings of God; Enthusiasm can overcome many problems; move with diligence as in a marathon; Consistency is often the enemy of persistence; Difficult things produce hypocrites; a hypocrite is someone who thinks he or she is trying but is not; what is difficult causes people to fail; we have two choices: give up or fight back; It is the desire of Christ to change us; we should make progress in our Christian lives; Romans 12:2 -- God transforms us; How do we reach the marks of Christ? How do we grow? We can't always see our growth during short periods of time; We are to be like Christ Jesus with athletic intensity; we are called to be more like Him; words cannot describe Christ Jesus perfectly; Jesus, by His thousands of miracles, substantiated His claim to be God; the Pharisee and Herod knew what they were doing to Christ to wrong, although they did not know the full extent of their wrong.

A great sermon. A must see. Listen to this preacher! Mature and intelligent wisdom. I think the word nakedness in Genesis 3 means that Adam and Eve were accountable for their sin: they did not have the protection of God.

I did not know crucifixion bruises the heel of the foot. Notwithstanding, by the bruising of His heel, Christ has healed us if we believe in Him.
