We didn’t have to do that since we’re American so I can’t speak from experience. But if you’re coming through the international side of the airport you would need to go through customs to leave so I would believe you would need that visa!

Yes if you go early! The smaller the group the better chance you’ll have to squeeze in somewhere but if you don’t have a seat you can’t stand, they walk around telling you to leave. So I would still get there on the earlier side!

I think any opportunity to travel is a blessing. I get fast paced travel isn’t for everyone so I see where you’re coming from but some people aren’t able to take the large amounts of time off of work for a holiday or have the money to do long stays in different places - but they still want to experience the world. This type of travel isn’t for everyone but as long as it shows someone out there that it’s possible to do if you can only afford (for time or financial reasons) one day of experiencing a place, it’s still worth it. Yes long trips are amazing too - we’ve done a good amount of those as well - but it’s not always feasible for everyone. In my opinion I think experiencing another place and culture is an amazing opportunity and experience no matter how long you have.

It is really disingenuous to claim you're able to provide "the ultimate survival kit for navigating Munich's Oktoberfest like a pro". That's just a load of crap. You either lied about the amount of time you spent there, or you barely saw enough to leave a 3-sentence Trip Advisor review. You made the choice, you planned your itinerary. It is such an obnoxious American way to travel to try to pack in 9 cities in 10 days; again, treating the world like a trip to Disney World. Totally superficial, shallow and empty.
