The agent Dale Cooper dreaming through time and space
I watched it and just cried... I cry every time I watch this video. Thank you again
Overall i didn't like the 3rd season. 😮😢😢
@@Kristine14 😪
It took me a rewatch to appreciate it, took me another 1-2 rewatches to absolutely say it is the best television I've ever watched.
WOW.
It is happening again
IT IS HAPPENING, AGAIN
🇮🇹...Peerless, Julee Cruise ♥️🍀
Never get old😢
Can you explain the connection here? Both scenes are in bars, both have coop looking up at something, both have someone saying something to coop, both have... other people at the bar... but what am I missing? What is the connection? I've seen The first two seasons a dozen times and season 3 I've seen 3 times. I would love someone to explain the connection here. If it's just visual similarity, then thats cool I guess. But in what way is it a heartbreaking echo?
Thank you for your comment ! Indeed, strictly speaking, there is no substantive coherence in the two scenes. but formally there is a sort of dialogue between them. There is also a form of nostalgia for the passing of time. I don't know if David Lynch did this consciously but I found this echo across time and space very poetic.
@@gasemijulie1952 cool! Thanks for the twin peaks love. One of my two or three favorite scenes from the original seasons.
Voice of an angel! RIP Julie Cruise 😢
beautiful
this is beautiful. thank you
The two scenes are unrelated.
In essence you may be right but in form I do not agree. Thanks for your comment.
@@gasemijulie1952 We can agree they're both great scenes anyway. I'm a huge fan of Twin Peaks and David Lynch.
I disagree. He can think, but can’t react. He’s remembering familiar things but can’t react to them due to what Mr. C did to prevent him from interfering with anything putting him a disabled state.
That’s why at the end he thanks his boss and tells him he’s a good man. And helps to create a tupla of Dougie for Sonny Jim and Janie-E so they wouldn’t be without him. Coop’s internally all there, but he just can’t externally react…
Laura was hotter in 2017.
oh my god dude
The old lady putting her hand on the shoulder of Mr. Coop, and giving him the kiss. Also mirrors, Laura’s actions towards him in the black Lodge.
Damn, I was wondering why this new season’s scene stood out to me, I didn’t realize it was a callout to that older scene that I loved so much. This show is tearing my heart out 🥲
damn good...
...Coffee
I think the scene on the right is the scene that says it all. Cooper is dead, is in a limbo state dreaming all kinds of stuff, no matter what situation he puts himself in the world he dreams will remind him of the black lodge where he is trapped. What season 3 showed is that he really doesn't get what he is supposed to do, or alternatively Judy and the Fireman/Coop are exactly evenly matched, their war going infinite. Much mystery surrounding this still, but this is the twin peaks theory I believe.
This is my favorite scene from the return. In fact, it might be my favorite scene from any show or movie for that matter. Twin Peaks is dominated by the "blue rose," but here was a glimpse into the meaning of the red rose: sensual, intimate, and wholesome connections with others. Cooper as Dougie was so vulnerable, and yet without even trying he brought positivity and love wherever he went.
Same. This scene is so heartwarming for TP fans. The music, the humor, Mitchum brother eating his pie, Candy... Masterpiece
Cooper as Dougie was trying to bring positivity and love.
I like your comment. Usually I find comments that "analyse" art to be trying too hard to sound smart or deep.
I need more of videos like this, underlines yet again how good twin peaks season 3 is

Very nice meme here, unappreciated!!
from what episode is the Diane scene?
PART 6 "Don´t die"
The metal sound as it hit him is perfect.
This is way more impactful than I expected it to be
