Whenever i see a new player at 76 vault, I fill the Donation box dowm the hill with stims, radaway and some food and supplies (not too much because they won't have much carry weight). Even today, made a couple quick level 20 Fixers at the mill for a couple random players who i ran into. I've got the resources, so why not?

On events, I usually give a mic check or a thumbs up emote and wait for a majority of players to acknowledge if we want to start an event. I'm seeing it more and more as I've been playing the last few weeks

Build a minimum of two vending machines in your CAMP, make them easy to locate (in clear view or directly in front of the fast travel spawn point) and never place them in your shelter. #10 DO NOT MAKE TRAP CAMPS. I had an individual make a camp seem inviting, but as soon as you go inside all the doors lock with a level 3 lock... and I couldnt fast travel. man... I thought Trap Camps were a thing of the past, but a few still exist. This aint Rust, Man...

I'll be honest and say that your video successfully de-influenced me from actually giving the game a try and I think that has value too, I'm not interested in multiplayer personally and it seems like the modality just isn't for me, It's free to try and so I might do that eventually but at least with Skyrim or Oblivion you've only got to pay the one time and with mods you can get a pretty good experience overall. Thanks for sharing your insight with the game.

No one hit equipment at events with legendary enemies. Give everyone a hit on the legendaries. This used to be standard practice but the bar has really lowered on player common sense.

yesterday I had someone drop me a 3 star weapon and I just excepted it because I I've done it myself for low levels. the thing was yes the character is level 10 but it's also my third character with my main being level 771 and my mule being 167, I'm just wanting a bloodied build which is going to be eventually this level 10 character but thanks I did appreciate it since this character hardly has much at this time except the plans for there future bloodied weapons my other character dropped them. thanks for being a compassionate open world 76.

the game is good, but my gaming laptop can't handle it. I have an rtx 3070 8gb, i7 12700h 4.7ghz and 16gb of ram, but this game makes the CPU temps reach 94°C. I guess I'll watch your serie :D

biggest problem I have seen is eviction notice seen the first guy run to the outpost and start the event before anyone gets there. Do not run to the outpost by the flag if there not enough people to do the event there yet.

Great advice. I feel vendor's selling their wares get impatient. Each plan is a simple line information, with no point of reference. I know I take a little while cause I'm using my phone to figure out what I'm looking at before deciding that this plan is worth 80 percent of my caps.

For the location by vault 96. I can’t get both resources to work. I put my camp at the top, and even though the acid resource is in the green circle, it says it’s out of building area

Vault-Tec University has 2 weight rooms with tons of dumbbells/barbells. First one is through main entrance, make 1st right and its on the left at the end of the hall. The 2nd is down the hall on the left from the main entrance, and through the vault simulator door. Then when you get to the main landing its downstairs in a corner. :)

If they have a vendor and unlocked resources, I tend to grab whatever resources are available, but i really try to find something on their vendor to purchase. its like tipping a waitress :)

Unfortunately in my own experience, the military freezer doesn’t work as intended, food still spoils very slowly

I chose to pay 1250 gold instead of 500 atoms for the cryo freezer. Bullion is easy to earn.

For beginner You have to buy cryo military fridge.

At least a couple of the mods are already broken, or have new incompatibilies already. So, you will have non-trivial issues with these mods as a group, unless you scan through the posts/bugs in Nexus for each mod first.

6:10 Nope. They are not changing any textures. Or sprites. But they are changing the way sprites are rendered - drawn on screen. Currentlly the game has a stack of sprites in needs to put into the game. It sorts them based on their world position with sprites further away being drawn first so the sprites closer to you can overlap them. This is not really efficient as sorting a large number of objects is a notoriously "expensive" operation. And the 3d models that are larder than 1 tile can also get overlapped by other sprites. Or not get overlapped when expected. The most obvious example would be a car close to the wall. If you drive it slowly the artefacts of how the car and wall overlap each other become pretty obvious. In build 42 they change the approach. Sprites get a depth map. Basically each pixel gets information on how far from the cell boundary as seen from camera it is. Having this depth map will allow sprites to determine if that pixel should render or it is already covered by something. So sprites can be rendered in whatever order, which eliminates the need to sort, so you get performance savings. And you can combine a lot of sprites into one large sprite at runtime and then use it instead of checking each sprite individually. Which also saves performance at the cost of memory usage. And yes. With grass it will allow individual blades of grass to be either in front or behind character legs, instead of current "all or nothing" approach. Sadly modded tiles are going to need depth maps added to them before they can benefit from all this. They will not bread outright. They will get default flat depth maps. But with those defaults they will work only marginally better than at present. Walls, floors, windows will probably be fine. But any furniture will require massive updates and I suspect a lot of tile packs are getting abandoned after that change is required. And with tile packs falling off a lot of modded maps are going to be reworked or abandoned too.

3:10 modded basements and vanilla basements are totally different implementations. Modded basements work kinda like RV interior mod. They reserve a chunk of the map outside the usable map. When you create a baasemment they assign the hatch a bit of that map and decorate it with floors and walls. When you enter the basement you get teleported there. When you exit the basement you get teleported back. Vanilla basements on the other hand are going to work on the main map. You just find stairs leading down and go there. Zombies can follow. What is cool is that they announced that basements actually can have multiple levels. Most of the random basements you find in residential houses will not, but some specialised basements like under military blacksite will. And those basements are not predetermined. Their entry positions are predetermined, but what is down there is selected when you first approoach the ladder down.

I came across this game by chance and man I love playing it. I enjoy making videos on it and watching other creators make content on PZ. I hope this game gets the massive love and popularity it deserves.

this might be a bit too yappy but I feel that Build 42 will really lay a good groundwork for many new features to come especially for the modders since people say that modders can do everything when they really can't like the NPC mods are all mid and any animal mod is horrendous the new smelting and blacksmithing will allow for certain builds to become more viable such as the axe mains since currently axes are limited and rather rare now you would be able to smelt your own new axes for combat same with other weapons this along with updates to the spear might dethrone them from their place of supreme combat since right now spears are the best long term mele weapon especially in terms of range and stamina the new foraging biomes will allow for much more immersion and along with the updates to farming will make that skill actually useful since for now farming is useless perhaps a new buchering skill? and a bucher occupation seem like interesting possebilities

How long is the cool down time so that I can start the run all over again????? I just finished the run but now I can’t find any on that same exact run even though I keep switching worlds I still can’t find ANY on that run. Smh
