I did this and I even though I got the door on tight, flame was visible for awhile, then it appears to have sealed itself. Also the ignition wire and flame rod wires always get cooked.

@@No-ik2tk I would put it in a pump sprayer and spray the heat exchanger, let it soak for a while and rinse.

The boiler I installed is SUPER EFFICIENT, especially with the outdoor air sensor option and the Burnham indirect water heater. I put the whole shebang in here and compared to my old dinosaur boiler that got ripped out, it uses 1/2 the oil of that one. I get a delivery once a winter.
We own one of these systems and it is fantastic!
High efficient Burnham MPO oil boiler by Antigua Mechanical
I have installed both of these products together on over 15 homes. Great system, easy to install! I also like the fact that the system has error codes should there be an issue, backed up by a full line of replacement parts.
