Good reaction my boy. But unfortunately I'm not feelin jelly roll music anymore. I love his old stuff and I'm fine with that, but in a recent interview he mentioned that his new music ( country ) he no longer tells " his story " and that made so much sense to me when he said that, as to why I'm just not interested in his new music, I want to be. But I'm not. I don't feel a connection . As a person I like jelly roll tho. Unfortunately he doesn't make music for people like me anymore 😕 because I'm not a recovering drug addict, or seaking validation with religion. I have nothing against those that are. I don't wanna call him a sellout , because I'm happy for his success, I just wish he wouldn't have converted to a whole team of song writers and continued to make the music that made him who he is today, country music didn't make jelly roll, I've listened to the guy for over 2 decades. It upsets me when people say he is a " new " artist . Its frustrating, the lies surrounding his success is what really forces me away..
