He paid all that money and he doesn’t get a full reheat take off. Probably because the Russians are cheap and won’t A2A refuel the fulcrum so they take off in military power to increase endurance. You get a way better ride with the USAF

Yes it is, but these flights in Russia were suspended few years ago, don't know if it comes back anytime soon
Makes you really appreciate the Concorde, that could stay that high and cruise mach 2 for hours without afterburner
