I got into music late, but she was the 1st act I truly noticed for songcraft-she was doing 'Four Letter Word' live on Des O'Connor which had just come out at the tail end of '88, and it wasmusical marriage from then. I have to add that, cos the trouble with the audacious snobbery in the music world, if you say you love her, it tends to conveniently be soaked up asbeing in love with her, and the music is incidental. When anyone says that they love slagdonna, Eurythmics and the rest, who brings up looks. it's about the (often suspect) 'product'. I must say that many 10yrs (even older) would miss a top song like this if it's not soaked in all the wrong things to attract the masses so mass kudos to you for loving it. Congrats! I was at work today (against my will) and the one rare bright spot was 'Another Step (Closer To You)' coming on Radio Jackie in the foyer. Least they could do.
